I'm getting Yellow to see what it's like! It's actually the only 1st Gen game that I have no experience with whatsoever...@_@;; All I know is that your only starter is Pikachu and you go on adventures with it and stuff, so it should be really cool to experience!
I think the only differences are that you start with an unevolvable Pikachu and meet Jessie, James and Meowth here and there in Kanto. Also sprites look much better than in RBG.

Yellow was my first gameboy game. My pikachu hated me, he was such a dick

I have no idea what I was doing as a kid, because I sure wasn't playing all these pokemon games.

Oh wait, we had pokemon cards instead!

If you didn't have the games or cards in 98', you weren't cool. ;|

I didn't get my GBC until '99 lols My first game was Blue though :3

But that DCC is mainly responses to a question about Pokemon games.

Oh and look I'm finally at the coveted 30k. Of all the things I wanted to achieve on PC this year, this was unfortunately the only one to have succeeded so yeah, go me.

Actually, Sweden was a bit behind so we got it all in '99. But all the cards and figurines I had, and all those early mornings watching Ash Ketchum and Pikachu <3

The cards were popular here first too, not everyone had a gaming system back then and they really were everywhere. And we could never have them at school either, but they banned pretty much every trend saying it was a distraction; gel pens, pogs, tamagotchi. I'm ****ing old now.

also you get the other three starters (Charmander, etc.) at three different points in the game, kind of like in the anime. those can all evolve though.

there's actually more differences but *waves hand*.. lazy

You're probably right.

Also tfw you've posted in all the TT threads and don't know what to do now.

That's the problem when you post everywhere, you don't know what to do next. Maybe it'll be time for you to check out another section and see what's going on there.

Or just leave PC for a while and go do something else 8)

Okay guys, I don't know what is happening, but my PC just booted up all by itself. I'm literally sitting here on my bed watching my computer turn on without ever having touched it in the last few hours. Did it get a mind of its own? Should I be scared for my new windows-powered overlord?

I literally can't think of anything I feel I "need" to do before 2016 begins haha.

Did you set it to hibernate instead of shut down?
