I'm the type to always avoid working extra. Anytime I get offered a chance to leave early, I usually take it - even if I need the money more. I'm weird.

I understand you, bro 8) I don't get paid for overtime though, I just get some extra time I can use to quit early some other day.

I don't mind the pay, I just hate working so excessively. That's why I quit my most recent job, because so much repetitive packaging work was shoved down my throat.

What would you like to be working with?

I don't much like summer, too hot. I really don't do well with heat.

Took me almost a year to get my job. The first 4 months I was working 50-60 hours a week for just slightly above minimum wage, then about two months ago I got a dollar raise and then last month I went up to 10.50 and got a promotion, and now I'm getting ready to get another promotion to an OS and I'll be getting 15. And thankfully they've got me back to working 35-50 hour weeks now. Most weeks I'm scheduled for between 35-40, but nobody ever gets out of there on time so it usually comes out to around forty something. Like this week i was scheduled for 38 hours but I've been staying a couple hours later a day to do sidework and learn some management stuff. I dont mind the overtime as long as they're not giving me like 5 extra hours a day. Like tonight my manager wanted me to work third shift service which would have had me on the clock for 16 hours.

Finally... got my part time job. $5 per hour. Working from 8 am to 7 pm as a shop keeper assistant.

It is really obvious that nowadays people are finding very hard to get a job with better wages due to increasing living cost. As a post - graduate secondary school student, I also find it very hard to find a suitable job because most of the shop owners or managers will not going to employ a student without any certificate ( *** this who cares, but it is very important just in case ).

Besides, in order to save more money to cope with increasing amount of maintenance fees, they just rather employ less which even harder to find a chance to get employed.

But thinking about my job, I like this job though. I working in chinese medical shop so I can learn more about chinese medicine. The staffs are very friendly and always stay clam when they meet with special customer or when I do mistakes. The best thing is, there are two cats right in front of shop which are darn cute but always beg us for food ( LoL )

I still don't have a job ;~; I worked at my grandparent's old business after they passed until we could sell it(didn't wanna hire more people) and it was nice pay but I need something now. Part of me is lazy and another part of me is just flat out indecisive at what I want to do rn. Maybe I am just too picky idk.

GA state minimum wage is $5.15, i make $7.25 an hour thanks to the flsa.
i can't imagine making $10 an hour, my check would be gorg

Minimum wage here is $7.25, but I'm making about $10, still though, due to the cost of things, that's still leaving me with barely anything after the bills are paid.

Some of our companies have been raising their starting pay to $12.

Minimum wage here is somewhere around $15(?), but currently still looking for a job that's more than the freelance design that I'm doing atm (though currently on break from that for a bit).

Our minimum wage is $8.38 (really random number, it was $8.25 so I don't know how much 0.13 makes a difference) and I make 13.25, which is just enough for me to have an apartment with a car payment.

Minimum Wage here is $11. It was $10.25 but they gave it a big hike, it's not really enough to pay for things here though let alone a bigger city like Toronto.

I just had a McDonald's McMuffin. Pretty good.

It was raining earlier. Kinda clear now. Hope it rains more.
