Gunpowder: Age of Demons [Done]

Day Five​


The night was silent. The excitement of the mysterious door and all the deaths of the day before had died down. The clans went about their usual duties of the night, and the zealot crept through the brush. After the events of the day before he had narrowed down and found the final member of Vereryl's followers. But he wasn't the only one to catch on. Chief Howling Wolf had also found the man, but only a few minutes prior. The Guardite readied his blade, excited at the prospect of delivering two at once. As the zealot leapt from his cover however, the door from the day before reappeared between him and his prey.

The zealot hissed as the dark wood changed to a blinding white; the form of Nimsy stumbled forward, the door disappearing behind her. The sword still stuck through her chest and remnants of Bardothren still dissolving off of her hands.

"You! You shouldn't be here either! Does death hold no meaning to you? How dare you return!"

Nimsy looked over at GreyBidoof as he shouted at her, then her eyes lowered to the sword in her chest. Placing both hands on the blade, she pulled the weapon free and in one swift motion removed the zealot's head.

"Be in peace." The resurrected woman whispered.

Chief Howling Wolf stared blankly with his new comrade at the godlike woman before them. Her skin glowed bright, and her blade even brighter. She looked over to the two men and took a single step, scaring them off into the darkness of night. Nimsy decided not to give chase, but instead to return to her fellow tribesmen. She had a purpose now, a reason to survive. She had to put an end to Ullion's darkness.

GreyBidoof is dead. He was a Guardite.

Nimsy has returned, but as what exactly?

Mmm I'm willing to bet on Lycanthropy being a Wolf thanks to his fusion with the wolf statue, but I could still be wrong there.

Iirc There are only two eagles and two snakes left (including me), so If I stab randomly there's a high chance of me hitting a baddie.

Let's go with [kill] lycanthropy, and I'll come up with a different target to stab.

Hmmm.
So was that door opening just a meaningless exersise or something more?
 
I don't see why the wolf statue would respond to a non wolf.

Well Bard died. That's about all we got from this.

Anyway. It does seem implausable that A non wolf would fuse with the wolf statue, especially when all the others were of those respective clans.

and guys, pretty sure the door mostly just powered up Nimsy, lol. After all, it was the first person who went through it that was meant to get a reward.

I'm gonna agree with this statement, though the wording "Nimsy has returned, but as what exactly?" leads me to believe she's and entirely different role now. Probably more powerful, yes, but probably not funcitoning quite the same.
