How many shinny pokemon have you encountered?

    In full total how many shinies have you ended up encountering? or Catching? This doesn't include in-game shinny Pokemon that are already there. {Such as the shinny Haxourus in the nature preserve in Black 2/White 2} How many times have you caught a shinny Pokemon using the poke radar? Consecutive fishing or just out of no-where encounters?

    Ive got pretty unlucky using the poke-radar I've got a chain of 40 a few times but always get unlucky... :(

    Consecutive Fishing... Erm, no luck either :(

    But i suppose my luck is in random encounters, in total all the shiny Pokemon i've encountred while just normally training in the wild, from Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon White 2, Pokemon X the total is 7.
    The unexpected shinies ended up obtaining were:
    Gyrados {Platinum}
    Beldum {Platnium}
    Pawniard {White 2}
    Buizel {Pokemon X}
    Alomomola {Pokemon X}
    Poliwhirl {Pokemon X}
    Altairia {Pokemon X}

    Ive noticed in Pokemon X {With me anyway} Every 110 hours of gameplay that i seem to go by, a shinny usually shows up around that 110 hour mark. I Remember the four Pokemon that i found, shinny in X were always around that margin {110 Hours, 220 Hours, 330, Hours, 440 Hours} Each time i got one i saved immediately. Is this the same for you? Whatever is happening with my copy I'm almost at the 550 hours mark, looking for my next one :)

    I've encountered only one shinny pokemon, but it was so shinny, it made up for all the other pokemon with smaller shins. Medicham, is so shinny - its legs are practically 99% shin!


    Lol but seriously. I've found a few in X/Y, mostly in hordes - one repeat actually (shiny cubchoo twice) and I think 2 or 3 in Black/White + Black2/White 2.
    My shinies in fifth gen, being wild encounters - were terrible though ;-; Modest Conkeldurr, and naughty frillish. *shakes head*
     
    Here are the shiny Pokemon I've encountered/caught over the years:

    Sapphire: Sableye (fled from it)

    FireRed: Shellder (fled from it)

    LeafGreen: Machop (fled from it)

    Almost all subsequent shinies have been caught.

    Emerald: Koffing

    Diamond: Geodude, later deleted; Staravia (fled from it)

    Platinum: Roselia, Sneasel, Marill, Blissey (latter via non-Masuda breeding, all lost)

    HeartGold: Mewtwo (lost)

    SoulSilver: Golbat, Tentacool, Nidorina

    Black: Gothita

    White: Sewaddle, Golduck, Lunatone, Vulpix

    White 2: Petilil

    Black 2: Purrloin

    X: Nosepass, Drifloon, Clawitzer, Wingull, Mawile (Masuda), Bibarel, Dragonair, Hoppip

    Y: Riolu (completely failed to catch it), Pikachu (held a Light Ball), Luvdisc, Quagsire, Noctowl, Whirlipede, Loudred, Shuppet, Lapras, Karrablast (Masuda), Tangela (non-Masuda breeding)

    I've only encountered two shinies legitimately so far - and they were very recent. I have a shiny Magnemite in an emulated White 2 and my newest shiny; Trevenant in X.
     
    I haven't encountered that many shinies, but there should be enough to make a small list :)

    Emerald - Voltorb, Linoone, Tropius, Golbat
    SoulSilver - Gyarados
    Y - Zubat
     
    Just two. A Corsola in Generation Two that I encountered in the wild but was unable to capture it. Not enough Pokeballs. ):
    I got a shiny Zubat through breeding in Pokemon Y, I did not employ the Masuda method.

    Quite a few i've found, not the biggest supply of all of them but I do have some.
     
    I'm just going to say the ones I found in the wild in X. It was a piloswine in the friend safari. Otherwise I just competitive breed for my shinies, which got me quite a few.
     
    My luck with shinies drastically increased once I got Pokemon X, I have almost a box full of them now XD They are:

    -Rayquaza (Sapphire)(Even MOAR soft resets)
    -Snorlax (Fire Red)(Do I need to say it?)
    -Totodile (Soul Silver)(Same deal...)
    -Bagon (Platinum)(Very first Masuda method)
    -Latias (White 2)(After only 11 soft resets)

    I have boxes full of shinies due to trading, but I only ever caught 1 :( My shiny Poochyena from Emerald. You guys have insane luck, or I just have insanely bad luck. I saw a Shiny Shellder once in Silver, but I couldn't catch it because my boxes were full.
     
    All of them are from Gen 4, 12 of them. 10 of them were through chaining. I did find Carvanha in Gen 3 (first shiny encounter), but save was deleted.

    Chaining:
    Budew, Starly, Geodude, Wurmple, Buneary, Bidoof, Pachirisu, Shinx, Nincada, Wingull.

    Normal 1/8192 chance:
    Giratina (fastest shiny encounter), Rotom.
     
    I've got a lot of shinies in total, but most were given to me by friends, though, and some were from Wonder Trade. Out of them all, I've encountered only about ten or fifteen of them by myself. There would have been more, but wasn't able to exactly capture them due to reasons.

    Of the ones I've encountered, Pyroar has got to be my most favorite. Its color-scheme looks very nice, if you ask me!
