How much do you like battling?

Battling is the core of most Pokémon games, with the mechanics having remained mostly unchanged from the first generation games. But that doesn't mean we all love the battling aspect - maybe we're okay on it, don't like it, or perhaps we think it's absolutely awesome and perfect the way it is.

How much do you like the battling mechanics?

Quite a bit. Was not interested in Legends: Arceus because of the reduced focus. Argues that to not be everything, though. Pays relatively little attention to the Battle Towers, after all. (Spent a decent amount of time in them in Generation 6, then not much after that.) Cares about the Pokemon you catch and the decisions along the way too.

It's my favorite part of the series. There's so much depth to the battling mechanics that I'll never get tired of them. That being said, like Devalue, I also pay little attention to Battle Facilities. I like the battling experiences they have, but I don't enjoy having to beat large streaks of trainers without any room for failure.

Enough to want it to be one of the main aspects of the gameplay. But not enough for it to be the sole focus.

I'd get bored pretty quick if Pokémon were just one battle after another with little to no build-up and context. I enjoy the sense of adventuring and having a reachable goal over just battling trainers over and over again and pretty much nothing else.
