    Purely hypothetical question;

    If a forum was created on PC dedicated solely to the discussion of animals/wildlife/pets/etc, would you use it? Would you want to see this happen? What kind of topics would you want to discuss?

    If a forum was created on PC dedicated solely to the discussion of animals/wildlife/pets/etc, would you use it?
    I'm going into zoology/conservation biology as my double major in the fall. Not to mention I work at a zoo currently and I hope to become a wildlife biologist and conservation biologist in the future. Already have my interns in South Africa and South America lined up haha. So yea, you could say that I wouldn't mind the addition haha.

    Hmm, there's a lot I wouldn't mind discussing, new species, conservation, creation of zoos and much more. Wouldn't mind there also being sub forums dedicated to each, for example; Herpetology, marine biology, ornithology, mammology, entomology, etc.

    Eh, I'd love it, just so that I could adore all of the pics and stuff that you guys would post.

    I think it's a nice, purely hypothetical, idea ;)

    though i would like to see a version of imgur with more than cats, dogs, hamsters, and foxes :P
     
    I think animals are really interesting so that is something Id probably enjoy a lot, if it existed it would be a great way for people to learn about and discuss them( and post and squee over cute animal pictures)

    pffffffff so darn bitter that the like button still doesn't work for me because I'd like these posts so hard.


    But no. I wouldn't post much in it. Because even though animalgifs are great and all, I don't have a big interest in them so while I could probably chitchat a little, I wouldn't participate in the deeper discussions. Just as I don't participate in the Art forums or Hack forums or something like that.

    I'd love to. As a future biologist I'd love to have a forum dedicated to animals and/or plants and/or life in general. You could say in a romantic way that I am in love with life. And, by knowing some of the people in here, I can say that many of the members are into biology and/or love animals. I don't see this as a bad idea at all, on the contrary I'd think it would be a very popular forum.
     
    if one was created, then yes, I would go there all the time. I would love to see one dedicated to my most favorite types of animals - mustelids!!

    Exactly! We should have a day or event where we'd have baby puppies and kitties in our avatars, signatures and profiles! And All the forums having puppies and kitties in their forum splashes!

    I LOVE that idea! OMG!

    I'd post pictures of my puppy doing the weirdest things ever and you'll eventually get tired of that qt.314!
    Also, I love animals to death. To me my puppy > most humans tbh. If there's a thread dedicated to pets & animals, prepare to see me puppy a lot! :D
