If you could rearrange PC

    If you could rearrange the order and organization of PC's various sections and categories, how would you like to place them?

    For example, move the ROM Hacking category to the very top of the forum or arrange the gaming sections by region rather than by generation etc.

    Put the rom hacks at the very front. Put them above the header. Make them giant and bolded. Make it so that none of the people that come here solely for rom hacks can miss it. Inb4 rom hacks hate.

    And every other thing is fine right where it is.

    You know what I'd do is to include a message on the header which links to the ROM Hacking stuff and also have the message show you what every board there has so it can be made easier for the ROM hackers who join to easily find the section.

    But yeah, moving the ROM Hacking category just below The Welcome Lounge would definitely help since it's kinda annoying when I catch ROM hack stuff posted in the wrong section, because I know it's not the ROM Hacking board, just like what Syd's Advance Generation forum splash says.
     
    It's pretty much fine as it is. I love the fact that they recently split all the ROM hacking stuff into its own category, that way, I can minimize that section on the home screen without hiding the art forum, which i will occasionally lurk for the fun of it. XD
     
    People look at the front page? I just click New Posts and look at what's there...it doesn't really matter to me at all the order of the forums.

    I have to agree that was one of the best changes as of late, ROM Hacking was so popular it got upgraded into a whole category. I think ever since Shinx and Spheal's re-appointment as mods they have definitely improved the board as a whole.

    And yes, the Advance Generation forum splash is so hilarious I want it to stay the way it is. Syd surely can be funny at times.
     
    I think Pokecommunity is lacking a little modern technology.

    Eventually, we'll have to move out of php. Which inherently means abandoning vBulletin.

    For now, though, there should be some more features, that make PC faster, easier, and more fun to use.

    Dude, serebii has got zero organizational skills. It's jumbled up so weirdly over there. I much prefer PC's current layout :D /biased

    Oh I agree it's full of outdated information and in general needs someone to go over a lot of stuff. But that top forum's organisation just makes so much sense to me haha.

    The Roleplay Corner should clearly be the only master forum.

    I quite like it how it is :3 Although I think I'd move the special forums down a bit, perhaps between Creative and Other - if not right at the bottom.
     
    Ooh, I like this! /god mode enabled

    I would merge CA with CQ&F and keep announcements as stickies only, merge OR/AS with X/Y with thread prefixes under Sixth Generation, move Challenges to be a subforum of Pokémon Gaming Central, merge Pokémon Voting Polls with Pokémon General, and finally remove the Custom Cards forum. That's about all I can think of. :3
     
    I have to say that I like that ROM Hacking has it's own section now.

    The only problem I have is that the section is called "ROM Hacking", but it has another sub-forum of the same name. I think it could be renamed to something even slightly different. Otherwise, greatness all around.
