In Canada, does milk really come in bags?

Whoever said Canadians don't put chocolate milk in bags is a liar. I buy bags of chocolate milk all the time. >O

Other than that, some of you guys are being a bit... silly about this. We're not insulting each other, we're just pointing out untrue stereotypes. This is why nationalism is fail. D=

I have a big mustache, use a sombrero and like to play my guitar by a cactus on Monday mornings, because I'm mediocre and rather not study. Oh, I also like to go get to the US from time to time, crossing the big river and watching my family drown... and I used to work as a maid in a house that belonged to a couple of newly-married gringos, er, Americans.

Oh, did I mention I have eight children...?

But yeah, all that doesn't necessarily mean all Mexicans are like me.

Bagged milk! <3

We love bagged milk in Canada. We let our mandatory pet beavers open it while we go aboot preparing our Kraft Dinner. We don't bother keeping it in a fridge because if we leave everything just outside our igloos, it stays cold enough anyway, eh? Honestly, I love a glass of cold milk-from-a-bag before my daily hockey game. It's also great not having to hide my weed whenever the Mounties stroll by on their mooses. I can't imagine living any other way. ♥
Oh, I completely forgot aboot the Kraft Dinner. Yes, we Canucks love our KD! :D

...I don't understand what you're saying. :| I never said anything insulting about them.
I didn't say you did. Sorry if it came off that way. I meant... I just don't see the humour in it. I can see people being surprised or confused over some food customs, but not laughing.

I hadn't actually read the entire thread. I was only replying to the original post. XD It just so happened that my post ended up after yours when it did. Oops.

How are bagged milk (which superior to all other kinds) and escargot (which delicious) jokes?
Bagged milk is hilarious to anyone who's had a serious "WHAT IS BAGGED MILK OMG" kind of conversation with someone.

But this thread is for funny stereotypes or country stereotypes in general. It's... not supposed to be a joke necessarily. o_O

Milk in plastic bags sounds fun to me. Bag in shopping trolley, POP! Milk everywhere. Big laughs from everyone. It sounds like a good idea, but to me, you'd have to like, reinforce the bags, otherwise, set them down in trolley and theres a loose screw? All milky hell breaks loose. But that's just how I envision it.

I mean, uh,

Braaap.

Da milk in da bag sounds teh phat innet bruv! *scowl*

Here in Spain we go watch bullfights at least twice per week. Oh, and we take a 2-3 hours long nap everyday after having lunch. And we all have Mexican accents and wear sombreros like Pichu :D

What the heck is bagged milk? @_@;

Talking about stereotypes from the Netherlands, I once saw a cartoon that showed some of the things that were associated with the country:

You know that clothing in blue, white, with red ribbons and a white thing on the head?
Cheese, Heineken, Tulips, Clogs, Tulips... ^^"

But the Dutch liquorice is awesome. 8D Hema has some very good ones.
Hema? That's like the worst liquorice you can get D: try Venco or Redband:P

Is this "bagged milk" liquid or powder form? o.o

I can't really think of any, except that I get asked sometimes "if New Zealand is really full of sheep everywhere you go?"

The state where I live is associated with hics who have no shoes and wouldn't wear them if they did have shoes, and people with no educations. Can you guess which state?

Can I move there??? Wheres' that dang passport?? Though bullfights aren't exactly my point of interes.

2-3 hour naps for the world!! Oh, and Pichu sombreros....

Who likes Peru? You know, we all live in huts in mountains, grow fruit, have llamas as pets, haven't ever seen Coca Cola, but you have fun singing traditional music all the afternoon. =D If you want to visit it, though, there are no airports whatsoever. But we can lend you a condor. ;x

Amusingly, the assumption that English people drink a lot of tea is true.
No one goes around saying "eh wot wot" though.
