    Hello hello, I need a place to start on this forum so I figured this would be a good place as any to start. I'll play around with all the profile settings when I find the time.

    Tonight I kind of wanted to relive some old memories and join a Pokémon forum again. I come from another forum after I ended up losing interest in it as the people in it weren't necessarily the best, and I got an itch to just make forum posts again. I feel I talk way too much for my own good and would enjoy talking about something I'm passionate about.

    I'm curious as to how active the community is here, and I'd like to break into it if I can find my footing. Do you guys host any forum games or question of the day threads? (EDIT: I'm realizing there's a dedicated forum game section now after looking around)

    If you're curious about me, some general knowledge. I'm female, a recent high school grad, Canadian, the "weeb friend" in most of my groups, and I'd describe myself as talkative and passionate. I enjoy mostly Nintendo games, and want to watch more anime but just keep forgetting.
    Some things related to my experiences with Pokémon, I started in Gen IV and Platinum is still my favourite to this day, I've replayed it more times than I can count and it's kinda always been there for me. I've even considered learning to speedrun Platinum to learn more about it, but recently decided against it. I've played every main-series game since (excluding the SWSH DLC if you count that, just haven't had the money) and spent most of my time in Sinnoh and Alola. I've also played the TCG competitively for about 10 years, but stopped taking it seriously about a year and a half ago. My favourite Pokémon is Luxray but my favourite type is Ghost.

    If you'd like to talk, send me a message or just reply, I'll see them when I see them. Take good care of me~

    Weeb friend? Oh buddy you're gonna fit right in here.

    Welcome to PC! Rest assured, from my experience anyway, people here are as chill as can be, so without a doubt your experience with the folks round these parts should be a lot better. You'll see me spamming Forum Games and Off-Topic should you decide to check that place out lol. Also, you were thinking about speedrunning a Pokemon game + you know how to play the TCG? You're already leagues ahead of someone like me lmao. Props.

    Hope to see you more around the forums, and make lotsa friends. We always appreciate friendly and active members. Be seeing you!

    This is really great to hear, I've enjoyed what I've seen so far. I'd probably be interested in Off-Topic threads, though I couldn't find any I was interested in replying to last night I'm sure that won't continue to be the case.

    I'm kinda flattered, thanks, the TCG was just something I wanted to do when I was young and I got caught up in it and stayed because of the people I met and the local community. If I'll be honest the thought about speedrunning was more just impulse and wanting to learn more about how the games work, I just don't think I'd have it in me to practice with how long the games are. ;;

    Friendly and active are two things I'm hoping to be, so I hope I see you around more too.~

    *Waves*

    Welcome and glad you decided to join in on the fun. I'm usually all over the place and hang out a lot in the forum games section while I also take care of the VPP section as well. :D

    Thanks, I'll have to check them out then.~ Nice to meet you!

    Oh god, that's actually relatable... ;;

    Glad we're on the same page. I love forums because I can kinda just make my own thread and see who responds, or if I'm responding to a thread it's because someone's wanting to start discussion anyways.~

    Nice to meet you! We're both new so don't worry about not knowing the features of this website, I'm still learning as well.

    Take it easy and just try to meet people, you're taking a good first step by talking to me. I'm totally willing to be friends with you and if you use this site more I'm sure we'll see each other around.~

    Thank You Aisaka for telling me what to do next

    Haha, you figure out what you want to do. I shouldn't be telling you that. Enjoy the community on your own.

    We are new too, I use to collect when Pokemon first came out. My sons and I have now picked up the hobby and I plan to train them using the online TCG. In the meanwhile, we do play Pokemon Go alot.

    Sounds like a nice time, welcome and nice to meet you.~

    A question of the day idea seems interesting, and I think it's something worth it for us to consider. Though we mostly do threads that are ongoing for longer than a day, since it gives more people time to reply. Question of the week may be more fitting in that case and I think is a good middle ground. Happy to see you've been kickstarting some discussions though, always happy to participate in those myself - it seems like you're fitting in really well already <3

    Luxray and ghost types are both A+. ghost was my original favorite and electric is my favorite now, so needless to say I completely agree with your taste. late welcome to the site o/

    That makes sense, I imagine a large amount of QotD threads would just clog up an entire section of the forums pretty fast, and I think it's a better idea to have those ongoing threads to give a lot more space, you're right. A Question of the Week, or even month, could be a good way to compromise, I agree.

    It's been nice seeing you around and seeing support for the discussions I do kickstart, always happy to have you.~

    Anyone I can agree with has good taste.~ Saw from an earlier thread you're another Banette fan and that's good enough for me!
    Late nice to meet you.~
