Oh I've heard of that site. It's an MMO where you play as an avatar that's a penguin and it's customizable, but beware you will have to shell out real bucks to get the cool stuff.

It depends on what you define 'appropriate' for kids. In terms of them wanting money for the really cool stuff, I'd say it's on the fence. I don't think they should be putting this in a game designed for kids. I've played this game before a while back, and I had to stop because they seem to only care about money. It's okay to have some real money involved, but this game goes over the top with that. I couldn't get very far because everything I wanted always seemed to cost real money. I don't see how anyone, even a kid, can enjoy this game without asking their parents to invest every dime into it for their child to play.
