I'm a weenie who's afraid to drive.

dw zafira you're not the only one

im afraid too drive too, but that's because most of the people around here drive like fucking maniacs; taking public transportation i cannot tell you how many times ive avoided a near accident because someone wanted to change lanes without using their turn signals 9.9

All the same here! They're so fucking nuts especially in the city.

Don't drive in this province I swear they hand out licences

I can't really be bothered to learn...the cost of a car means that its just easier and cheaper for me to rely on public transport. The freedom would be nice, but then I'm a shut-in who doesn't like leaving the house unless necessary anyway. xD

Yeah I am too lol I only go out when is needed.

I don't really like going outside as much anymore only because the new neighborhood that I moved to recently feels a lot less safer than my old one. :s I remember at my old apartment complex I would feel completely safe taking walks outside in the middle of the night whenever I felt like I was in the mood to do so. Nowadays.... I don't even feel like going outside much during the daytime unless it's for work. ._.

I have no need to get a driver's license since I've completely given up on getting a job because looking for one basically killed me https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0072470/ ;-;

I know this feeling all too well.

All I'm going to say here is to keep pushing, keep going. Keep looking for something out there. Look for more entry-level positions that can work with your school schedule; usually customer service/retail/food service places will do. You're not going to make any progress if you're not going to put the effort you need to put in to make results happen. I've learned this the hard way soooo so many times.

At the end of the day, the only person that can motivate and force you to do anything is well.. you. Looking for a job isn't fun, I don't think there's a damn soul out there that will tell you it is, but it's a necessary evil in life that you have to sink a lot of hours into in order to get something out of it. That's just how it is.

Ok

I don't think I will ever own a car. I might want one if I ever have a child. Until then, my city's public transport is fine. Besides, I like the bus :) You can zone out, look out the window, and relax on your way to work. I hate cars lol. There's too many of them. (Don't tell Archy)

Please let me know if you ever need help because I'd be more than happy to give it. I'm pretty used to job hunting and I have a few tips.

define affordable prices

it's like $2.00 per bus ride here except if you want a transfer ticket to a different bus route. in that case you dont have to pay the extra $2.00.

$1.50 for everyone and make transfers work on the same bus route, because otherwise if you take one bus route to a certain place to run an errand or do w/e else, you have to pay the extra $2.00 to take that same bus back home which I think is really stupid.
