Anyway I have 4 cats, 6 dogs, a rat, 2 ducks, 2 birds, fish, and a rabbit.
The cats and my mini dachshund are my favorites.

I love my cat. I am not moving out without her ever. Hard to find a place big enough for a cat though, yet at the same time not obnoxiously expensive.. here most affordable apartments in my price range would be like 300sq ft

She passed away from a stroke October 7th of last year

Sorry to hear that :c That's how my guina pig died actually but this was years ago

I have ten cats, 5 dogs, a bluecrown conjure, a parakeet, a red eared slider turtle, 5 goldfish and a betta. It's the least I've ever had in my life. Used to have mice, frogs, rabbits, pigs, a chicken, goats, had a ferret... Oh, and my beloved catfish! I missed him.

The list is a lot longer but I'll keep it short. Didn't give any of them away. They all grew old simply.

You get used to it, I've had several cats pass away from illness, it's really sad though

I've lost a few to sickness and cancer. A lot of cases were very difficult for me and I pray it never happens again.

I lost my dog a few months ago after 15 years. It's crazy when you literally grew up with them.

My dog was 12 when he died, it was natural causes iirc.

My parents dog is around the late middle-aged period of his life right now, so shouldn't be in any danger of suddenly taking a turn for the worst.

He does, however, suffer from irritable bowels, meaning he can only eat dried dog food, the poor bugger.

I've lost so many pets either due to natural causes or sickness in the past when I was a kid. @_@ It was surreal.

I haven't owned a pet in years currently, but that's mostly because the places I keep living in aren't exactly the most pet-friendly.
