Film Last movie you watched? Edition II

Blair Witch : Not amazing, but a significant improvement upon the first one. This one was actually scary to an extent, and built up and maintained it's suspense throughout.

Deepwater Horizon : An outstanding film. I don't really know how to explain it. It was so dramatic, but not overly dramatic. It was done perfectly. My favorite movie of the year thus far (Even though it was released last year).

Hidden Figures: It was a really great movie. Took place in segregated America which should speak for itself. On the other hand it was as intense in terms of race as I thought it would be but it was still very apparent.

Hunchback of Notre Dame. Felt like watching a Disney film and one I hadn't seen yet. Was a pretty good watch.

Not bothered with Assassin's Creed. The best parts of the game are the open world and travel mechanics, which the film doesn't provide. Pretty much all video game films are bad. The last one I saw was Ratchet and Clank and I loved it because of the nostalgia but outside the game, it won't really appeal to others.

went to go see moana in the cinema a week or so ago; absolutely adored it! naturally since it's a disney film (i may be a little biased) it was adorable & amazing, and i absolutely loved the entire story and concept. moana is probably my second favourite disney princess after this (no one can take mulan's place) and everything abt it was rly pure - no love interest, no weird relationship between her and maui, just a good storyline with amazing music.

The Selena Movie. Found it on Lifetime while channel-surfing. The only time I saw something on Lifetime without getting hammered first.

One called Twixt
Was interesting, I like the ending song.

Just watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid on Netflix again. One of the all time great westerns, just wish Sergio Leone's Man With No Name "trilogy" (one guy plays two different characters in consecutive films where the latter is set earliest out of all three, but they're thematically the same) were on there too - I'm a student, I can't afford multiple streaming services, I don't even have a tv licence.

King Cobra and Doctor Strange

Pretty fantastic movies for very different reasons.

Went to see Split today! Really liked it for the most part, but without giving anything away, I felt like the takeaway message/ending was kind of wrong. From a movie-going perspective it was really interesting and I was on the edge of the seat the whole time, but I also feel like it kind of further stigmatizes people with DID, since this is a real disorder.

Jurassic World. It took me long enough to get around to watching it, but I had a really good time with it! Truly the sequel Jurassic Park deserves.

The Selena Movie. Found it on Lifetime while channel-surfing. The only time I saw something on Lifetime without getting hammered first.

omg I love that movie! It's so sad though.

I watched Ponyo!!! <3

I love this movie so much. I find it easy to relate to Ponyo in a lot of ways.

Saw the latest Fifty Shades movie with GF tonight.

It was awful haha. For a movie called 'Fifty Shades Darker', it wasn't very.. dark. To be honest, it was pretty tame sexually as well. 2/10, would not recommend.
