I'm not going anywhere yet, I'll likely keep this up while I play! I'll be alright though, thank you for your concern <3

I'm on meds for it but it doesn't make it magically go away, unfortunately.

For sure, I've never really been medicated for that kind of thing but it's good that thing can still help in a way. Glad to hear you'll be alright.

I do, stuff has been good recently and I haven't had to worry much about it. Was a little worried last night about another depressive phase but I think things have turned out alright for now.~
This site does help in a way, it's nice.

happy to hear that Aisaka :)) this site's my go-to if i have nothing to do and the gf's busy. it used to be reddit and Youtube, but i've significantly cut down on those because posting in here just seems like so much more fun rn!

I don't know if I've mentioned this here but I've recently been trying to be social in so many different places currently, both between social media and here. It's definitely a lot and sometimes I think I'm not posting enough wherever, but it's nice to just have those spaces to be social or do whatever, especially to kill time. Reddit's something I have but never really got into, and it's like the definition of a timekiller for me.

oof don't spread yourself too thin if ever! for so long i've just limited myself to 4 sites that i regularly browse, but PC's become that 5th site that i literally visit more than any other now thanks to its community aspect. you're right in Reddit being a time killer tho. i barely post there nowadays, it's now just browsing memes, like my FB and Twitter feed recently. this is pretty much the only place i regularly post in now.

My facebook feed is exclusively either general memes, or links to art from LL art on Twitter (it's way easier to have a general page that reposts from those artists rather than trying to find all the artists on Twitter) and I won't ever post unless there's something to tell people I know in my area. Then different posts go on Instagram and Twitter and I'll talk to people in messages here and on Discord. Lots of stuff going on, but I don't mind and don't think I'm spreading myself too thin thankfully. I'm still feeling comfortable and if I end up thinking "Oh I'm not posting as much on PC" it's not something stressful, I'll just think about popping in more the next night. I tend to only spend the early afternoon or late night here, Instagram in the morning, etc. so it feels like I've got times I just tend to be around in certain places so I'm not doing three things at the exact same moment at least.

well that's great to hear Aisaka, so long as you're not stressed out by it or anything :) i personally tend to feel like i'm missing out on potential spam post opportunities in PC when i go offline lol. already got to around 200 posts for the day and it's not even 5pm yet, but i always feel like i could do more heh. this is just the VPP addiction talking for sure tho.

and heya Stars!

Oh hi I've come back.

Yeah it's definitely not stressful and I don't really have that feeling of missing out, so it's doing alright! I often have that urge to check notifications for social media, but I'm lessening it and I think it's just sorta the nature of using a site like that anyways. So it's all good.

it's the nature of notifications too. they were designed for you to look at and view. lots of sites (even here lol) have them in deep bright red, and make them shake. so it urges you to click it :p

There's so much psychology involved in pretty much any type of media. So many little things nobody would ever notice until you explicitly tell them. There were so many instanced where I thought that I had managed to overcome certain algorithmic procedures on Youtube but then it turned out I just fell for the next best thing.

totally agree with everything, especially on the Youtube thing. they're so good nowadays with recommending me videos and i'm too much of a sucker to not get sucked into a rabbit hole every now and then. i've since installed DF Youtube as an extension to my browser and it's been helping a little bit.

i watched a documentary sometime ago about how these companies reel you in and make you a slave to their system. a lot of factors, especially those capitalistic in nature, come into play.

That is very unsettling to think about, but I can't say it'd affect me.

I'm a capitalistic slave to one thing and one thing only: idols.

I s'pose idyllic idols are ideal to idolise 😁
Can't spell idolise without idol so, y'know, that's definitely something in there that's right.~

Good to see you guys! How you doing?
