I played a demo once on the 3DS and then realised I'd not be that skilled at it and end up making a mess so I never went further than that

Do you like the monster designs?

Yeah it's my first game too, I honestly didn't want to get it at first because I know it has a rep of being pretty hard and I'm awful at hard games ahah. But husband and his friends play so he said they could just carry me to get better gear/weapons, plus playing with others has been fun. The monster designs are fun and I'm enjoying it so far! But I def wouldn't have bought it if I had no one dedicated to play with :x

I'll start today, I suppose. Which one should I play first tho?

Pick up Rise or Generations Ultimate. Megan's right with the older games on other consoles being pretty much dead. It's a game that's great to play with other people and especially with Rise having just come out, it'll be nearly impossible to find polite randoms to play 4U with. Rise is considered a 5th generation MH game (and takes a lot from World which I heard revolutionized the formula and was a lot more inviting to newer players) so even though I haven't played it, I'd give a confident recommendation to Rise based on that.

lol happens to me too. i decide to wake up early but end up falling asleep after being awake for around 2 seconds.

You need to be a light sleeper like I am. Then you will never have that issue. And you will wake up from pretty much anything that makes a sound <_<

One that I've been hearing conflicting opinions about. Some people say it's good, others trash it to no end. I've been meaning to check it out for a while...

Yeah I have heard stuff as well. Some really seem to have enjoyed it but then there are some who say there are better ways to spend time. Confusing, so I'll not go for it just yet

To be fair I'm someone who's spent almost all of those hours playing singleplayer. But that's kinda just cause I haven't had friends to play with until recently.

On the topic of sleep though, I had to get up early the past couple days for work so it was nice to sleep in today. Spent a couple hours in bed after waking up and it's cool to just be extremely lazy after such a busy time.

I only play multiplayer, i just cant play against an AI alone anymore without feeling bored after an hour or less :(

I think it depends on the game for me. As long as I stay engaged I'm good, and I think by that point I sorta just accepted I didn't have friends to play with.
