I enjoy it very much

I enjoy this win very much :3
I don't know what crossed their minds. Why release a Pokémon MOBA?

It's just business, I guess. Nintendo has done a lot of thing they didn't while Iwata was still alive. Like, actively supporting DLC and mobile games. At the same time they also stopped doing other things. Like, I still remember that they sent me a free code for Super Mario Bros Deluxe for the 3DS on a Birthday of mine when he was still around.

This is random, but here is one thing I find amazing about this site: while looking through some of my old threads I started, such as those from last year, I noticed text that I typed at the bottom of the page so long ago but never submitted is still there.

Wait, what do you mean by can't post yet? Is it just the fact that people haven't posted anything new yet, or are post limits actually a thing?

Guess this post slipped through the cracks, huh? 😏

Because of the section rules.

Fun fact: now that I'm a moderator, I don't need to ask for approval before posting 😏

People usually have to ask for approval before posting. If they don't apply they run the risk of getting banned. And no: I didn't make that rule. But I definitely respect the one who did. :3

Now I'm even more confused, are you just referring to new thread creation, or just posting in general? Cause I have no idea where someone would
even ask this.

I mean, people just usually pay me a monthly fee.

But apart from that we just have this rule about thread monopolization. It's probably easier to understand when you know the context though. Forum Games used to be a massive spam fest. Two people could quite literally fill up pages of a thread by simply alternating posts. While that was occasionally fun. It also led to users feeling alienated. They wanted to take part in a discussion but then spammers could come in and just ruin things for everyone.

As a result we basically introduced that rule that especially in counting games you shouldn't just post the number. But also you should give other people breathing room so they could post as well. The general rule is "there should be at least two posts between your own". It's obviously not always as strict. Sometimes it would also make a topic get stuck because many people want to wait until there's at least two posts after their last. But generally this has worked out fine.

There are some minor issues that are very much edge cases. Like, when you see some higher staff person posting a little bit more and you see that as a break of the rule then probably don't report them and instead approach them. Because the thing is: both higher staff and section mods can see these reports. And when both decide to take this report simultaneously then this can cause some confusion. Not that that has ever happened before... ^^"

I took another look at both the Forum Game's rules and the Global Community rules just to make sure I didn't miss something really obvious.
I did know about the no thread monopolization rule, I just got the impression that as long as there are at least two posts after yours that you can post again.

I didn't see anything about having to ask for approval before posting, not saying it isn't a rule, just that I have no idea where it's listed.

I don't mean to be bothersome, I just really don't want to accidentally break any rules.

Edit: Okay, that makes sense then. I take rules VERY seriously, so I'm kind slow at getting jokes about them. Thanks for the clarification Megan.
