there are some series i wish there were spin-offs and follow-ups to, but others i think are best dead at this point as well

I started watching Boruto at some point and then just never continued. It didn't really draw me all that much.

I randomly started reading the manga. On the one hand, I was just happy to see some peace and happiness with the main characters of Naruto, on the other hand I also think Boruto shouldn't have existed at all. The actual story had already ended and btw they just can't expect us to recognize Boruto as the protagonist after having watched all those Naruto episodes imo.

I've only ever had interest in one manga, so much so that I bought the whole set only to find out later that the writer botched the ending, so that kinda killed my interest in reading it for now.
