Last One to Post Wins! v4

I've been on a few VCs for GT events, and while it's been really fun, it's also really weird hearing the actual IRL voices of PC users.

I've been really enjoying the Art Swap so far! I thought it would be great if I did something with my art skills other than simple sketching and make actual complete drawings (with colours and shading and stuff). I've also decided to do a little challenge for myself, to make a drawing for every person participating in the art swap, or, at least, try to! I believe it's coming together real well! I'm having fun with this challenge! Eevee's Arcade on the other hand…

Eevee's Arcade usually sees a Devalue sweep =P
, but we got more users playing it this year than we normally have.
I think we actually have 4 different people in the lead atm

But why I am forgetting who is leading in Polar Panic and Neon Dash ?

:plead: :plead: :plead:

(But jokes aside, Devalue is absolute legend, and it feels great to have him in the forum)

But almost all of them leave after the event.

Though I am new member on the forum, hence don't have much knowledge, but I am seeing many new "old" people on the forum whom I had never seen, but are on the forum. And they are only being seen in GT forum, and nowhere else.

I assume they all are coming for the event only, and either they are not active or are affected by Discord effect.

So thinking of FG and PT getting affected by GT, does gives the idea that how much degradation in quality would have appeared.

This is first ever GT for me, and I am only into Arcade, will do handmade TCG and write a story. Do wanted to do battles but I am not seeing myself having enough time to do them, sadly.

Apart from these, all others are way too out of phase events for me which I either don't know or have no interest. But it does seems too much linear and similar, rather than diverse and varied.

I know who's in the lead for cool ninja :coolrim:

Literally, how do you play Cool Ninja? I know you're supposed to kill the falling enemies by dashing through them but every time I try to do that I fall off the roof. The best I could do was a surprising 24 and you're telling me you got more than 100?????

Yeah, you intuitively got it correct. Very intelligent observation.

Most of those users proceed me. I think many of them grew up on this forum. So they all migrated over to discord together.

Discord servers are a little too clique oriented for me. I think that's the nature of live chat based servers in general. The people who frequent it the most will turn into a tight knit group.

One could argue it's like that for forums too. There's a specific group who hangs out here in forum games.

But I think the slower pace and the idea that most threads set you up with a gist of what to discuss makes it easier to acclimate.

I wasn't a fan of the new rule that you have to actively chat in the counting threads. (As in - simply posting numbers is frowned upon). That can be intimidating for new users. But for the most part, the community here is warm enough that it doesn't seem stranious.

I've noticed @Lavender openly engages with anybody. I applaud him for that.

Everyone is a friend in my book. therefore I try to treat everyone on here as a friend, even if I just met them! no one is gonna be lonely here if I have any thing to say anything about it! <3

It's called 2 hours straight of doing runsskill

For my first GT all I did was the Arcade. I often make into the top 3 for 1 or 2 games and then get booted out later on xD
I think my Neon Rider score might've been a fluke. Tried a bunch of times after getting home today and highest I got was a 56k something score. :sadwick:

I completely agree with your justified explanation. And I also think that Discord works on popularity of opinion to continue the talks. Hence if our replies are not related to what few people are talking, then what we wanted to say usually gets suppressed.

And then as you explained, the people who form grouping there only show interest in talking with people with whom they are grouped.

The forum works quite methodical and move slowly and with correspondence. Hence whatever we say is usually noticed and doesn't gets fled away with the wind.

Personally I like forum much more, I came here as total stranger but slowly I managed to know and remember you all regular and experienced members.

Same goes for Polar Panic. I am not even able to cross 150, and am fumbling under 90s as if I am playing for first time.

:LOL::LOL::LOL:

I've never been on Discord, and frankly I really don't see anything appealing about it- I much prefer forums. Of course sometimes if it's close to dinner time my oldest Cat brother Hobbes jumps into my lap and proceeds to nip at my fingers as I'm typing, like he's doing now...

I only briefly tried out TeamSpeak long ago.
Learned then that using a mic for voice chat is not for me.

It becomes really cluttered in group chats when people just drop in, out of nowhere and say something. If it's good then it catches momentum, if not then down to dusts.

Discord was ideally meant for live gaming where people use live chats to coordinate while playing the PvE games or similar. Don't know why people preferred it forum. The things which we can do in Forum via the console can't be matched by type and send.

It moves rapidly as well, hence we can't get optimal support.

For example, here we can clearly see the issue of @Lapis_Laz95 , but on Discord, it would might have not been considered that much seriously if many people are discussing other things.

And not to forget that all the big companies provide their support via forums, even Discord doesn't provides support via Discord !!

I have a feeling PC's discord would be too busy for me even if I did like using a mic =P

It's raining! Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!
