Last One to Post Wins! v4

Lately I keep 'catching' ladybugs while working for some reason. And by catching I mean I keep seeing them on my clothes and i have to escort them off.

What makes that annoying habit even more annoying is the fact that they only seem to do it when you're going to sleep!

Ikr !
I've lost so much sleep to the nuisances. :sadwick:
I hunt them aggressively if they get in my bedroom for a reason =P

I dont remember my childhood home! or at least my young childhood one. but I did live by a pub called the greenhouse when i lived in wales when i was maybe like 7.

Main thing I remember about where we used to live when I was really young is the cats my parents had lol

I was born and went to elementary school in Chevy Chase, Washington DC. My favorite bookstore is definitely Politics and Prose.

I loved bookstores as a kid. Well, yes, I still do, but I have plenty of memories as a kid of just going to the bookstore while my mum was getting groceries and just… staying there waiting for her. Reading books or trying to find one interesting enough for me to read. I sometimes (often) had to tell my mum to "wait just a little bit" because I just had to finish reading something.

We used to have a bus that came like once a month or 2 months or so. It was full of books and music tapes and the like. I had a card that allowed me to borrow books from that place. It was basically some sort of mobile library.
Ugh I have to write a frickin' essay due tomorrow but I've got, like, zero motivation >:I
Good luck with that! :D

Ah yea the library bus. There was one here when I was small, but iirc it already disappeared when I was a teenager.

Did you include some rice bowl drawings around the edges? Gotta bribe them examiners with rice! :fufu:

Speaking of the library bus and things that are gone nowadays... we had a supermarket bus of sorts here as well (it had a limited assortment of stuff people around here frequently bought). And a greengrocer... err... minibus? The vegetables where in like a separate covered trailer behind it. All gone as well.

That reminds me of the "donor libraries" in my area, they're usually little boxes in parks or similar places and the idea is that people put in books they're done reading for others to freely read or take home. Most of the time they don't have anything special, but you can still find the occasional gem.
