I've been sick all day for some reason. I genuinely have no idea why, it just happened. I really wanted to go to bed early because of that, but unfortunately my dumb self decided to postpone studying for I test I'll have tomorrow, and so I stayed up nearly 3 hours more. I just hope I'll get better tomorrow.

I heard so much of 'Breath of the Wild should be the new norm for the Zelda series going forward'.

Then they released a direct sequel with very similar mechanics and the internet was already feeling mixed.

...I really don't support Zelda going open world because it's competing in an oversaturated genre. Yeah, previously Zelda was following a formula with each game, but that formula was unique to the series and made it special.

Then you have Pokemon now trying to cash in on the open world stuff too, despite that those developers are already struggling to transition the series to 3D. (The result was a game with a massive amount of bugs).

I guess I'm just tired of the open world stuff. There's a belief currently that games have to be open world to be interesting and that's not true.
 
Ach, I finally reach Legend rank with T.H.O.R.N. in Star Wars: The Old Republic today! There was this galactic stronghold decoration that you could only get once you reached Legend rank, and I'd wanted to fill my Umbara Train stronghold with the Plaguebearers. Now the only trouble is that beside 10 of this other item that's relatively easy to get during the Rakghoul Resurgence event, you also need one of a much rarer item called a Symbiotic Fungal Bloom. I'd looked up where to get them online, and spent the rest of the day trying to gather them. I've currently found only 3, and have spent them to get the Plaguebearer decoration.

3 down, a very large number left to go- I'm probably going to be real busy getting these this week (the event lasts until midnight Monday night, when the game changes to another event), so I might not be able to get on here as often this week. I'll still try though!

Mario used Water Gun on Bowser! IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!!!!

Got four more Symbiotic Fungal Blooms today, so that's four more Plaguebearers. I've put them all in the train stronghold, along with some red emergency lights on the ceilings of the train cars for effect. It's a good start, but it's still looking undecorated.

More work Friday.

It's one of those games that are probably best played at the time when it originally came out. It's very much 90s Squaresoft, from a time when the company peaked. ^^"
