Last One to Post Wins! v4

I just join any forum, I guess

Exactly!

i've been searching far and wide for a new forum to call home. Last time i joined a forum ... let's just say it didn't go so well.

i feel very lucky to find PC. Its just like the fun and welcoming forums i used to spend lots of time on back in the day

That's a pretty similar story to how I ended up here! I was on a different forum I had a handful of bad experiences on, and wanted to find some place better. I'm glad you guys are enjoying yourselves, it definitely leaves a good impression how welcoming everyone is here. Something about forums or message boards are just pleasant, you can take it slow and enjoy being part of the community a lot easier.
Something like PC's Discord is great, but they've got way too many people I don't know and move way too fast for me to feel comfortable. Spikes my anxiety like crazy.

Just made a new installment to my fan book series I'm making! Hope y'all like it!

The whole camp bloomed with flowers. An amazing sight, unlike anything Wolfkit had ever seen. He bounced among them, inhaling deeply and sneezing, but returning for another joyful sniff.

"Almost a cruel testament to all the bloodshed," Sparrowstar, the leader, sighed.

A quarter moon ago, the Clans had broken the sacred peace, fighting at a Gathering. Wolfkit, too young to understand, sniffed the flowers again, a mixture of relief and awe washing over him. He called to Sparrowstar, "Come play with me!"

"No, Wolfkit," the large ginger tom replied. "I'm getting old, and these flowers hold no appeal for me right now. They feel more like a mockery."

Shyfeather, the Clan's medicine cat, interjected, "Sparrowstar, don't be so negative! Perhaps they're a blessing? A reminder from StarClan of the beauty and joy in life."

"Hmph. StarClan," Sparrowstar muttered under his breath. "If they even exist..."

"I heard that!" Shyfeather exclaimed.

Wolfkit hated it when Sparrowstar spoke this way. After his parents' death, Sparrowstar and Shyfeather had cared for him, but since then, Sparrowstar had grown increasingly critical of StarClan. Wolfkit couldn't help but be bewildered by his words.

Shyfeather, sensing his distress, interrupted his thoughts. "Wolfkit, why not play with me? How about... catch the kit?"

She lunged playfully, sending Wolfkit tumbling back with a happy squeal. They tussled gently, Shyfeather eventually giving in, allowing Wolfkit to land on top.

"Gotcha, Shyfeather! I win!" Wolfkit declared gleefully.

"You win, you win," the silver she-cat conceded, laughing. A rustle from the camp entrance caught her attention. "Oh! The hunting patrol's back. Are you hungry, Wolfkit?"

"Yes, yes! Can I take food to the elders?"

Shyfeather smiled. "Of course, Wolfkit. Why don't you share some with grumpy old Sparrowstar too? He might be getting close to elder age himself!" she teased.

"I heard that!" Sparrowstar called back playfully, mimicking Shyfeather's earlier comment.

Shyfeather chuckled. "Well played, Sparrowstar. Well played."

"Can I eat now? I'm hungry," Wolfkit whined.

"Of course. Remember to share with the elders! They'll have some wonderful stories for you."

"Yay!" Wolfkit raced to the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a mouse before returning to the elders' den, repeating this until each elder had a share, including himself.

"Thank you, Wolfkit," said Tailbare, the oldest elder, born with the unusual trait of lacking a tail.

"Yes, thank you," echoed Songstorm, the other elder. "Ready for a story?"

"Yes! Yes!" Wolfkit squealed.

"Well, it all began..." Songstorm started, but Wolfkit couldn't focus. A faint voice called his name repeatedly, drawing his attention away from the story. Confused and afraid, he spun around, searching for the source.

"Wolfkit? Are you even listening? What's wrong?" Songstorm finally asked, his voice cutting through the distant call.

"I thought I heard someone calling me, from far away. When it started, I couldn't hear anything else. Weird," Wolfkit replied, anxiety lingering in his voice.

"That is strange," Tailbare agreed. "But most likely just your imagination. Shall we continue the story?"

"Yes, please," Wolfkit mumbled, unable to shake off the feeling of the unsettling voice and its mysterious origin.

Good work! I'd like to write a bit more but it's a bit hard not to be lazy sometimes, lol. Too many hobbies, too little time. v_v
I gotcha lol. I think that I'm just gonna write one chapter per day. That means, if in an Erin Hunter book there's around 30 chapters, and 6 books in a series, it'll take around half a year to finish lol :). I have a thread with the intro to the book as well, if you'd like to see it

I was talking someone recently about creative writing and dug up an old story concept I had made when I was younger that I completely forgot about. I don't really do creative writing besides a little bit of character lore for FFXIV, most of what I write is just personal thoughts in essay form.

As for reading, uhhhh... do idol fanfics and RPGs count..?

I tried writing but it didn't go well. Now reading is a whole different story. I've already finished more than 9 books this year. xD
9 books is actually nothing to me XD. I used to get large wads of Warriors books from the library, so that means I read about 18 books a month for quite a few months XD
I actually have made other books, too. If y'all want, I can share them with you. My Wolfbane series is my favorite:love:

Speaking of how people joined this forum... the reason I joined is because I felt lonely, since I don't have any friends I thought I'd be able to make some on a community with people who like pokemon like me, and I'm very grateful for the friends I have made here, you guys are awesome 💖

Also, I'm currently waiting for a bullet train to tokyo :3

I 'just' needed a forum to set up some trades to complete my SwSH PokeDex and all this time later I'm still here lol

childish antics
Very bold words to my eyes.

Although I think you can provide me some tips for the thing which I will be asking you now.....

My parents usually say to me that I must need to avoid that childish antics from me, as I am no longer a kid. But the real trouble which hinders me to avoid it is the fact that I easily find the fun and laughs from lots of day-to-day things because of which the childish antics appears easily. Many times I try to remember it, but my mind again discovers something because of which I begin to laugh within myself.

The only time when it doesn't happens is when I get either angry or nervous.

So what will you recommend to me over this ?

I think I joined the forums because I was lonely. I accidentally got the ban hammer on Bulbagarden (it's temporary, I've learned since), and I didn't get many notifications on Smogon, so I decided to try here out. And it's fun! I'm glad I got here

Being childish isn't a bad thing. We all are to some extent, we're on a forum for a kids game and it's great.

If it's okay for me to ask, how old are you if you're finding yourself in this situation? I don't really think "not being a kid" exists. Finding joy or humour in everyday life is a great thing to have, just that it's important to know when to be serious about something. I have a handful of friends who will joke about basically everything and it's incredibly hard to get them to take what I'm saying seriously if I'm telling them how I feel. Obviously you wouldn't want to laugh at someone's funeral.

Emotions are fine to have, that's a big lesson I had to learn growing up and I wish I knew that way sooner.

Yeah, a lot of people think they have to be emotionless and very mature when they grow up, but you don't really need to, it's good to be mature in some places, but it doesn't need to be your whole life.

@Delta Crowned Sword

Oh? No harm intended by those words. ^.^

Childish antics simply meant that I stopped trolling and breaking rules. I was, self admittedly, awful to be around.

I felt that by the time I joined Pokecommunity, I had stopped doing all of that stuff, and I was already a much better person.
Heartwarming lol

Adulthood is a fable told by the bureaucrats...

I'll just state that there is a very large portion of ''adults'' that like to horse around... =P
Though it does ofc depend on the setting a bit.
