SwSh DLC new Pokemon: Kubfu/Urshifu, Zarude, Regieleki, Regidrago, Glastrier, Spectrier, Calyrex (8 new Pokemon).
SV DLC new Pokemon: Dipplin, Poltchageist/Sinistcha, Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, Ogerpon, Archaludon, Hydrapple, Gouging Fire, Raging Bolt, Iron Boulder, Iron Crown, Terapagos, Pecharunt (15 new Pokemon + potentially Walking Wake/Iron Leaves, not sure when exactly they got implemented).

I do personally prefer the Crown Tundra over either SV DLC, but they did definitely add more new Pokemon in SV.

Don't forget the Galar versions of the Legendary Bird Trio. I really liked how they had those.

I'm a big fan of regional forms in general; such a clever way to keep old Pokemon fresh while tying into an aspect of real biology.

Let's just hope they decide to bring back some underrated/forgotten Pokemon as regional variants.

I love regionals. They introduced Alolan Vulpix which is one of the best yet. I'm hoping for a regional Skitty/Delcatty lately and I'm not sure why lol, nor what I'd even want it to look like!

They could also use regionals bring some unique typings, and I am directly pointing towards Alolan Muk and Hisuian Zoroark.

Alolan Muk isn't unique in it's typing though =O
Poison/Dark already existed on two lines back in Gen 4.

Ah right forgot about the DLC regional forms for a bit. Which adds 6 more to the SWSH list: Galarian Articuno, Zapdos & Moltres + Galarian Slowpoke, Slowking & Slowbro.

Which does close the gap more, but still comes out less than SV, albeit just barely.

I'm just glad with Scarlet and Violet you can see the wild Pokémon in the overworld, rather than walking into tall grass/a cave/the sea/etc. and getting a random wild Pokémon- makes it easier to search for them.

Oh look, I just caught a win in the overworld!

I definitely love the overworld roaming Pokémon. They're not only better to search for, but also easier to avoid. No more repels for me!

That makes me wonder... do SV even have repels?
I didn't pay any attention to whether or not the item still exists when I played it xD
