Yeah forum games has been very active lately. It kinda had a period of time when it wasn't so much anymore.

As someone who has been around it for nearly 7 years, it's bittersweet seeing almost everybody in a certain group who once posted fade out. But newer users are the soul of it and keep the place going.

I agree, I've only been on the site for around a year; but it's still sad to see users I used to see all the time just... stop visiting. However, that's just how it goes on the internet, and while it's sad to see old regulars go, it's exciting to see new users pop up and add their own unique personality into the mix.

I'll be honest, it's often moving too fast for me, I just sort of pop in whenever I feel like posting a bit or if I see something interesting come up while checking my notifications. But I'm happy this section seems to be thriving, it's a great example of why I love the community here.

It's really nice to see a forum be this active. I'm happy to see people.

I came here totally as a stranger, though I had been here few times when I was in school, to find the Pokémon games, but never felt the confidence to become part of online world.


And becoming part of the community was a totally new and different experience for me because I had never done this in the past, with exclusiveness of bug reporting at KDE bugtester site, and that was very formal and to-the-point reporting thing where I put the the bugs experienced along with the proof.

It was not like talking with people......





But coming to the present, many days had past since 14 February 2024, the day when I joined here.

During first few days, I didn't knew what to do after joining the forum, because I was no longer playing the games. I think I was there in my own Hello Thread, and wondering the next thing to do.


But I should not forget to thanks @Fact Checking Gardevoir ,@Lavender ,@Alex_Among_Foxes and @ReKoil who welcomed me in that Hello thread, to make me feel relaxed after joining. That helped a me lot to understand what kind of environment I will get here. Thanks to you all for you help .🙂

Coming to Forum Games was different feel to me, as I didn't knew rules of the games, hence was looking into last 2-3 pages in each games to know how members play 😅 !!

It took me a while to understand the things here, but finally it seems like I managed to understand the way. Pokémon Trivia was the first place, I guess, where I went for the first time.

During that time or rather first couple of months, seeing @Megan and @Starlight posting around created terror within me 😨 . Don't know the reason, though !!


Whereas seeing Lavender and ReKoil and Lapis around felt fun, and I guess their post-flair and signature made me feel comfortable with them around during those days !!







But one thing that's true is that it's the Forum Games where I met many new people from different places in the world 🗺 , and that also helped me to learn many new things and perspectives about which I was not aware of. So I am extremely thankful to all members here for allowing me to participate here !!


And in one week, I will be 4 months old here, hence let's see how fast and long can this Rayquaza soar with you all around !!

Sorta same same- I do have some real-life friends, but I haven't really seen nor talked to them in years. I have been on a forum for another fandom for years, and so that sort of became my central community. Made a lot of good forum-friends on there, all of us getting into crazy mischief and etc., starting food fights, playing Last Post Wins and other spam or game topics (we literally had a board specifically intended for spam-type topics, with the post-count off of course). Then slowly some people just stopped getting on as much, or disappearing completely, although we still were getting a lot of guests- literally 400+ guests many times. A couple people still post occasionally, and then I (briefly) have someone to talk to, but then it's just tumbleweeds again. So, I decided to find another forum to join so I could have people to talk to and etc. A Pokémon one sounded like a good choice, so I browsed a couple and found my way here. I'm really glad I did- this place is major!

I was having a friend in college, with whom I finished the entire course, doing all tasks together. He also taught me playing Table-Tennis. But I am not in touch with him starting this year. Hence I live a solitary life nowadays, with the only friends being myself, the wind flowing with me, and my shadow who never lefts me 🤣🤣🤣.



It's not like I can't talk with people, but they are limited to the requirements as in the case of public places, shops, retailers, etc. But then I can't say those shopkeepers as my friend, despite I know them from childhood.

Presently my target is something else, hence won't bother to look around as such...

Going back to college, I've made some irl friends in recent months, but I'm not particularly close with most of them? I'm hoping to make some friends on here though! I haven't been on a forum in something like 10 years, but I had a lot of fun on Pokemon forums when I was young.
