I've got a legit leak for you guys here. Believe me or not by uncles friends dogs previous owners uncle works at Nintendo. Just kidding. I actually am from the video editing department where we record, mix footage, and assets such as borders, etc, etc. The few of us here have a bête version of a game which we use to record most of this footage. Anyways the quality isn't that good because since last months leak they upped the security and now anything uploaded through the servers will be tracked back to the user. The footage above may/may not be present in the October video because GameFreak isn't 100% sure when they will release the second forms of he starters. Late September/early October is what I heard but things change. Anyways here is some info
- The secret of Rockruff and the starters are... Multiple time based evolutions. There is a Morning, Midday (Male and Female), and Night one amounting up to 4 evolutions each. Here are the starters...
- Rowlet evolves into Rascowl then Scoundrowl. Morning evolution is a Grass/Electric Thor like character. Midday(M) is the Grass/Flying Archer. Midday(F) is Grass and much more colourful and looks like red riding hood. Night is a Grass/Ground Velociraptor
- Litten evolves into Wickat then Flintiger. Morning is a Fire/Poison quad that looks very nuclear. It is hard to explain its appearance. Midday(M) is a Fire/Dark Wrestler and so is Midday(F) but it is just Fire type, thinner, faster stat wise, and has more red in its colour scheme. Night is a Fire/Ghost Sabretooth tiger (It is also a quad)
- Popplio evolves into Bubbileo then Leoskid. Morning is a Water/Steel Ronin (Samurai. It is really cool cause it's nose inflates and turns into a mask). Midday(F) is a Water/Fairy Mermaid and Midday(M) is a Water/Fighting Sealion. Night is a Water/Ice Mososaurus looking thing
Here are some details on some of the new Pokemon
- Orugbitang is the Rugby Monkey Pokemon. It is fighting type but it's appearance and second type changes based on the Z-Crystal it holds
- Findrip is a Water dolphin that evolves differently based on he island you evolve it on. It remains water and becomes a normal Dolphin on Melemele. Water/Fairy Pink Dolphin on Akala, Water/Ghost Skeletal Whale on UlaUla, and Water/Rock Itchyosaur on Poni
- Soulsno is the second stage of the 2 stage Ice/Ghost Snowman Pokemon. It's ability is really cool. In its normal form it is slow but has high attack and special attack. If hit by a fire move it becomes Water/Ghost type and gets a huge speed boost. If hit again by an Ice type it reverts to its normal form
- Turtain and Trubble are the Pre evolutions of Turtonator. Trubble is like Pupitar to Tyranitar. Turtain can also evolve into Tribble then Turtilator which is Water/Dragon
Here are a few details on some of a new mechanic
- Zvolution (Z- Evolution). There are no new Mega evolutions this time around but there are new Megastones. Confusing isn't it. Basically there is a Greninjanite Z which is explained to be accidentally made by Zygarde when releasing its power. Greninjanite Z actually has no effect on the Pokemon that holds it. You need to Breed 2 Greninja's with 1 holding Greninjanite Z and the egg will hatch with the "Z-Gene". This allows them to access a new form like mega evolution but different and based in friendship. Mega Z Stones are extremely rare and hard to find in game and rarely (About as rare as finding a Shiny) a Pokemon can be found in the wild with the "Z-Gene". Pokemon that go through this process have a part of them changed to match the appearance of the trainer (Black on the face when a player has a black hat, etc) and an emphasized move for example Crobat has huge glowing fangs while Greninja has its Water Shuriken. These Pokemon also have special Z-Moves. Here are a few Pokemon that can go through the process... Johto, Unova, and Kalos starters, Flygon, Milotic, Crobat, Dragonite, and a few others
Here are some details on the legendaries
- Marshadow is the first ever ??? Type which is making a return. It's ability makes it so that it can use any Z-Move despite the moves it has
- Tapu Tiki (Holy Tiki) is the Fairy type fusion of all 4 Guardians.
- Sunnix and Moonake are the true Sun/Moon legendaries. Solgaleo and Lunala are emissaries of them. Their typings are Fire/Fairy and Dark/Fairy. Solgaleo's Radiant Sun Phase and Lunalas Full Moon Phase are "Reflection Forms" which partially activate when using a Move. Their forms fully activate when Sunnix or Moonake are on the team. A few other Pokemon can go through this process
- Kyurem complete appears in a huge fight against Zygarde because Zygarde thinks Mega Evolutions are unbalanced (Which is why Zygarde made Z-Crystals. Zvolution though was an accident) and Kyurem "is mega evolution". The pure form of mega stones came from the meteor that contained the Original Dragon. Kyurem Complete is pure Dragon type with slightly OP moves and abilities. It's move Mega Aura is a mist that appears for 5 turns before going away. Any Pokemon on its team who enter the field will mega evolve regardless if they have a stone or if another Pokemon has mega evolved. It's other special move "Reverse Aura" prevents the opponents team from Mega Evolving. You can't use both Auras at the same time. It's ability is like the Totem Pokemon's "team up" ability. When it is low on health it reverts to Kyurem but has Zekrom and Reshirahm as sidekicks (Although a well placed earthquake can take them all out)
Here is even more info regarding the future of Pokemon. GameFreak has planned far ahead, some ideas more complete than others. In fact a few of these ideas leaked a few days ago although some of the info is incorrect ( Saturn Diamond, Jupiter Pearl leak, and the Reginos region leak).
