Dang, you already beat me to posting this leak. Here's the original source for those who are wondering. I wouldn't doubt that a new trailer will come out on the first day of September, because it's happened before on the first day of July and the first day of August (my birthday).

Okay my analysis on this one...

If I recall, there was a leak that mentioned a Bug/Psychic Butterfree and it was one of the "big four" relevant leaks as well. We haven't had a Pokemon with that typing yet so I hope it's real.

Trailer on September 1st could be plausible since we usually got a new trailer around the start of each month since June. If the pattern continues, that means October 1st could have another new trailer which would be an awesome birthday present for me.

Pikipek evolving into a Steel/Flying was something I recall another leak (one that I think was since confirmed false) and it would be interesting since we haven't had a Steel/Flying Pokemon since Skarmory.

Another Tapu guardian being Psychic-type would be interesting since that's the type of Oricorio's Pa'u form and we already have one Oricorio form sharing a type with a Tapu (Electric if you're wondering) so that does support my theory of the Oricorio forms and the Tapus sharing the same types, which means Fire and Ghost-type Tapus could be possible as well.

Water/Dragon Gyarados? I remember everyone feeling Mega Gyarados was a missed opportunity for the typing, but getting Rough Skin as a possible ability would make it interesting.

Mega Gigalith with a new ability that boosts light moves? Feels kinda wasted to me when you consider Flash Cannon is useless due to Gigalith's bad Sp. Attack. Rock/Steel also has two common 4x weaknesses so it would be a huge hindrance here as well.

Lilligant gaining a Grass/Fairy form (Mega according to the list?) would be interesting considering its counterpart Whimsicott became a Fairy-type in 6th Gen, so it would be cool to have Lilligant follow suit the very generation after Whimsicott did.

The Normal-type Z-Move was revealed during last week's Gamescom livestream. Due to being a German event we currently only know the move's German name (Hyper Sprintangriff) which translates to "Hyper Sprint Attack" which makes sense considering the Pokemon charges at the target at high speed. Since Hyper Sprint Attack would be too long to fit the English character limits for moves, shortening it to Hyper Sprint would be very plausible while still keeping the same meaning of the German name.

Ash Greninja being a Mega could be plausible when you consider how the anime has been sorta comparing its power to a standard Mega. Having Protean as its ability would make sense since it's the reason why Greninja is overpowered in the first place.

Aside from it not really making sense in the games (Ash Greninja? There's no Ash in the games. So they'll call it something else, but then why bother? Its whole shtick is its amazing bond with Ash.) it's just not as visually impressive as most Megas. Aside from some weird cheek hair, it's just a slight pallet swap of regular Greninja!

I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that it's gonna get shoehorned into the games somehow, but I'd rather it not waste a perfectly good Mega spot. Have it be a distributed event Pokémon for the people who watch the movies or something.

This leak actually seems...plausible.

Another Mega for Gyardos and an Alohan form for Kanto's forgotten bird Fearpe doesn't exactly excite me but Alohan Butterfree makes a lot of sense.

In truth I want this to be true for Mega Lilligant. The Grass/Fairy typing makes sense and I would love for my favourite Pokemon to get a Mega.
 
Honestly, I'm starting to feel these "leakers" just want attention. Once again we have another leak which bandwagons on the previous hopes of other leaks. I don't mind speculating and I have no problem if these are true( give Lilligant some love!), but let's admit this is becoming fucking ridiculous now. I'd treat these people with the utmost suspicion. They don't have much proof as even some of the stuff we got was only half true. For example, Ninetales is Ice Fairy instead of Fire Fairy and we haven't gotten a Snowman Pokemon yet( which I'm starting to think may have been Sandyghast...) Is it possible that the leaker mixed up info to prevent being tracked down? Yes. But I've been seeing this stuff over and over again being repeated by different leakers. This could be true, but now I feel it's just a quest to see who can cause the most baiting first.

I love speculating about Pokedex leaks, I really do but this one is really starting to grind my gears a little bit. If we get a reveal September 1st, good. But right now, I feel this is leak-baiting.

True. I should be used to this, but I guess this time it's rubbing me the wrong way. It's just the process of coming to find out what is true and what is not true can be a quite frustrating ordeal. Hopefully we actually get some confirmation on this because I really want some of the leaks to be true/some not to be.

On another note, I feel Greninja is going to get some sort of Mega due to it's popularity, but I doubt it's gonna be called Ash-Greninja. Pokemon makes references to the anime in the game, but they are super subtle about it. Bond Greninja sounds like a way better name in my honest opinion. I know people are against synchro-evo, but I love the idea. It's weird, but something fun.
 
Lilligant does make a lot of sense. Try thinking of a beautiful grass type pokemon to accompany Fomatis/Lurantis and Morelull [and its evolution(s)] in the Lush Jungle? Lilligant seems the most perfect for the Lush Jungle of any other pokemon. Also, the Lush Jungle looks strikingly similar to the Pinwheel Forest where Lilligant originates.

The only thing I dislike is them revealing more Trial Captains, as I hope the others are kept a secret.

As for red flags... The only ones I can think of is them saying "I don't need to explain myself, you won't believe me anyways" (which is typically an excuse used by fake leakers), and saying that the starter evos will be revealed next month, and those don't typically get revealed until later. There's also the Ash-Greninja being a Mega thing, but that's just something I don't see likely.

At least this leak has a specified date, so we can debunk or confirm it fairly quick.

Yeah, I'm guessing it'll go like that. We get a huge dump on September, then a smaller one when CoroCoro comes (probably with some exclusives that would be shown at a later date).

I hope we get some new Megas in one of those things, otherwise I'm gonna start assuming we won't get any new ones...

I feel CoroCoro hasn't really been showing us much lately in terms of huge dumps but having a lot of trailers coming out in September (and possibly October as well), with starter middle evos I see coming in October, or even just revealed in CoroCoro three days before release if they really are sticking to a pattern.

September's CoroCoro could also release some new Pokemon that may not be revealed in English until a few weeks afterwards, like what happened with Komala/Rockruff and Sandygast/Palossand/Stufful.

That recent Mega Magearna leak threw me right off. Unless it's just some sort of translation error then I can't see why else Magearna would be separately listed under the title "mega" if it weren't to receive one?
