Definitely learn :
yawn is more accurate and thus better against "sedentary" legendaries,
however yawn won't help against a roaming legendary (Ecruteak city trio, latii, Mesprit, cresselia)
actually, lulling a wandering legendary into sleep is useless since gen4...
