I worked as an administrative staff in a uni for two years before resigning last april so I could travel/live with my ldr partner on an extended tourist visa (6 months). no regrets, the job sucked. came back in November, did a bit more traveling until January, and am now self-employed along with a side gig from home that earns more income. decent enough for me atm, hoping to keep this going for as long as I can. I don't want to seem lazy/selfish or anything, but I really, really don't think the work-from-office life is for me. I absolutely loathe waking up early and commuting to work no matter what I'm doing, and find myself way more productive when working from home.

my major was communications with a concentration in design & digital media....so it does seem fitting enough? being a self-employed webmaster fits the major, and graphic design/art (something I hope to create into another side job) fits the concentration. I'd say something like this would definitely be my dream job. :D despite self-employment being a bit more unstable and difficult at first, and health insurance being a pain to properly obtain haha.

Took up BA Mass Communication as it was the only course in the uni I wanted to go to that I could sort of relate to at the time (aforementioned uni was super limited in courses but education was free and family money was tight. I had to sacrifice my BA Music dreams abroad if it meant being practical). Ended up working in the graphic design field after literally just watching an online Photoshop/Illustrator course and freelancing for a bit while in college. I figured I like this better now than any writing or marketing opportunities that come my way. Is it my dream job? No. Does it fulfill me? Most of the time it really really does.

I work at a place called Round 1. I call it a Japanese version of Dave and Busters but with more. I am an Amusement Lead and have been there since the store opened. Right now though we've been closed down since March with this COVID.

I was a dance coach for several years up until the end of 2015 when I got sick and couldn't keep the job up anymore. Now I am technically unemployed and on disability, but I'm working on becoming a professional writer. I've published a children's book, regularly post comic strips and I'm working on a long form comic with a professional illustrator right now. So I'm hoping eventually I'll be able to build a career out of my writing work and get off the pension - or at least reduce my dependence on it.

This is... sort of what I studied for? I was doing an online creative writing course a while back but it randomly shut down on me before I could finish. My more official studies definitely were not writing focused though since they were a general coaching certification, dance coach certification study and an education degree (which I also had to drop when I got sick RIP).

Interestingly enough though, I have always wanted to publish my writing. To the point that my teachers through much of my schooling predicted I'd end up an author. A bit of a round about way to get here, but what do you know? That being said, my dream job would be to go back into coaching or choreography and just doing writing on the side. I'll take what I can get though.

I'm a Finance Administrator at a company that installs and monitors healthcare equipment. I deal predominantly with the corporate clients who manage large numbers of people (i.e. care homes) although I have some involvement with private customers too. I have two degrees in Accounting so it's a pretty good fit for me, although it certainly isn't what I envisioned myself doing when I was studying.

My dream job is...idk. Maybe this job without the aggravation and a little more pay? I wouldn't want to do something I enjoy in my spare time as a job because then I'd have to find something else to do in my spare time, and I definitely wouldn't want to be self-employed because I wouldn't want to deal with my own taxes. Nevermind that my creative work - both writing and art - is nowhere near good enough for me to do it professionally =/

4. During Brake deal with a very outrageous war.
5. Take a risk to escape from the workplace.
6. And in last two hours try not to lose consciousness.

Okay so today I got confirmation that I would have a job next year at university which is great! I work as a venues assisstant for the university that I also study at, and given the current climate they were uncertain of how things would be going into the next academic year, it's only part-time, but is a big relief.

As for my dream job, I would love to work for a media department in a company like Apple, Xbox, Nintendo etc, my degree is in Media, PR and that sort of stuff, so would fit nicely :)

i do hr and medical records and basically almost every office task at a home health agency. it sucks, but it's not retail.

I'm not just an Internet janitor! I do it irl too!!!
I'm a second-shift custodian at a student union. My biggest responsibility is cleaning most of the offices after 5PM. Before/after that, I clean up areas in the building that need it, and help set up events that happen around the building. Though with covid being a thing, it's far less event setups and more using so much disinfectant on surfaces that it's seeping into my bloodstream.

I actually really like my job -- the 2:30PM-11PM schedule fits my natural sleeping pattern, most of my time is spent working alone, and I love tedious cleaning tasks (if it's not my house).

Don't have a dream job... the real dream would be working less hours for the same take-home pay so I can play more video games.

I currently work for a hotel in my town and I also work offering international and domestic travel services to countries I have experience visiting. Not like a travel agent, but I actually write out itineraries that detail everything from walking instructions to places picky eaters will enjoy.

I majored in history, so I love being able to travel to places like Egypt and Vietnam when I'm researching or just getting new ideas for my books.
