almost forgot about that..... i wonder what that'd be in the comic, if the gym challenge doesn't exist anymore in the comic and it's strength trails in there? hmmm... 😯🙄

There's also the whole of victory road that leads up to the E4...
That's up to you, it could always be a 'final challenge' sorta thing. I do have an other idea how you could use Mt. Silver, but it technically breaks the lore of both HG/SSand Nuzlockes in general, but Mt. Silver may as well be post-game anyway so does that really matter? I don't know...

Well, you could say that Jirachi's at the top of Mt. Silver (for whatever reason) and you want to make the dangerous journey up the mountain to wish that all of your teammates that got 'seriously hurt' would be healed, but you have to battle Red first who has his own wish he wants granted.

Get the Eevee from Bill, Evolve it into an Umbreon. That's the best advise anyone could ever give you about HG/SS Nuzlockes. (besides don't let it die lol)

How about 'I wish I was a human again' lol? I can't imagine the strong silent type like Red would like living as a Pokemon for the rest of his life.

You could always draw one 'set up' picture of the outside of the mountain with you and your team looking at it, followed by a short montage of you climing a rock wall, surfing over water, fighting chilly wind, etc, without getting super detailed with the backrounds of the interior of the mountain. As long as the message of 'it was a long difficult climb' are shown, that should be enough.

There are almost no Dark Type Pokemon in the Johto area of the game, and is a huge asset for the Ghost Gym.
Fun fact, I did a Nuzlocke of Soul Silver a few years ago, I made it all the way to Red at the top of the mountain, ans survived the battle with just two of my level
80-ish Pokemon left alive. My Umbreon, and the Jolteon that I brought over from my Fire Red Nuzlocke... It was a very close victory.
