Lot's WiP comic and general talk

What groups do Annie and Van belong to? Like, should I note them with the School Pokemon, the Guild Pokemon, etc.

i'm pretty sure that annie of team elefire,
along with her team members, apricot the human-turned-vulpix (pink bow, ability: flash fire... feint attack, quick attack, flamethrower, safeguard) ,

gomazou the male phanpy (special band, ability: pick-up... tackle, rollout, hidden power, protect)

and kodora the female aron (power band... ability: sturdy... tackle, metal claw, water pulse, shock wave)

are part of the guild *although, they graduated from the guild in explorers of sky... i think that's relevent for the comic too*


and van is part of team cutetail, *although, i never used him ^^' *

with fluffy the female human-turned-eevee (ability: run away... quick attack, iorn tail, dig, attract),

volty *nickname: volt* the male pikachu (ability: static... thunderbolt, quick attack, brick break and hidden power),

star the female growlithe (ability: flash fire... aerial ace, dig, flamethrower and iron tail)

and tanu the female zizagoon (ability: pick-up... tackle, ice beam, grass knot, pin missile)

but there weren't any guild in blue/red/DX rescue team... sooo... umm.... i think they might be in the guild in this instance.. yeah, that's right :>

I made a blunder here, Chilami was already on my list, under the Guild: team 2 section. I just forgot.

i've not drawn any other characters yet... other then tsuki the teddiursa, nanako the shiny alolan vulpix and the ones i've mentioned: afina, kojo, ukko the shiny female pikachu, swifty the shiny male buizel, chilami the shiny male minchino, tukkuri the shiny male tepig and emica the eevee


well... i think that nona the ninetales in this instance... she took apricot in when she first came so she's apricot's adoptive mum... so she's in it :> (ability: flash fire... quick attack, flamethrower, safeguard, extrasensory)

That list is gigantic! That looks more like a list of NPC's you'd see in an open world video game than a comic...
This is the first real piece of advice I'm going to give you. If you try to write a story with that many characters all fully integrated in some meaningful way,
you will get buried by scope creep, and will probably never finish it. You don't have to take my word for it, but you should.

That list is gigantic! That looks more like a list of NPC's you'd see in an open world video game than a comic...

You can always have one or two appear as cameo characters every so often, like some older TV shows would do with famous actors. Then that way you wouldn't have to think of a roll for all of them all at once. Just a suggestion.

i'm not even sure what the 'MAIN' enemy is, yet... 😦 i do have the purrloin, lokix and alolan persian... but there's almost always a bigger enemy out there....

There tends to be, yes. I would recommend just working with the three 'villains' you've got for now though, no need to make things that complicated this early.

Next would be working on the prologue to your comic! You mentioned liking one of my suggestions for the way it starts in an earlier post, now you've just gotta work on a script for it. (it doesn't have to be done all at once, you can always just write down the first page or two then let me have a look)

i can try... but my brain is stupid, so to speak... i never know what to write...
same goes for drawing backgrounds... the heck.. how are other comic people so good at backgrounds 😨... i know.. practice, practice, practice... but still 😑
