I would imagen Team Rocket. They would want to try to get their paws(?) on apricorns to make Apriballs since Pokeballs couldn't be found anywhere.

That definitely fits his aesthetic, though I'd recommend making him a shiny Decidueye so that the colors match his human look a little more.

It would make for a good replacement side-plot for what would normally be the Slowpoke Well. Which is coincidentally right next to the town that's home to that guy who crafts Apriballs in the games!

i was thinking that prehaps i could turn the bug catching contest into a treasure hunt, in comic... that if you find a certain stone, berry or shell that's the prize in the ''bug catching contest'' you win and you get to keep it - https://www.serebii.net/heartgoldsoulsilver/nationalpark.shtml no pokeballs, no catching other pokemon species😯

I'm pretty sure you can get those kind of mushrooms as a held item from Paras, which according to some of the PokeDex notes state that "They are highly valued as a medicine for extending life" so, if they are the same kind of mushroom, should be safe to eat.

maybe trails of strength, or something? to see if we can handle ourselves out there? and you get a special type of item if you can beat each trail leader, or something?

like a blue feather in place of the zephr badge, a Small Leaf in place of the hive badge, some Brown Fluff in place of the Plain badge, a Eerie Thing *which in this case is a small rock* in place of the Fog Badge, a Black Pebble, in place of the Storm Badge, a Mini red Pebble, a bag of Shiny Powder, in place of the Mineral Badge, in place of the glacier Badge and a Shed Claw, in place of the Rising Badge

I would argue that at least some of them are irrelevant, either from an obscurity point of view, (like the special eggs, Trainer ID? what's that?) or from the fact that the only way to get them is to be in or near the postgame (like the starters for Gens 1 & 3). I'd say the Togepi and Eevee would be fine since you couldn't normally find those in the wild, and Tyrogue 'maybe', though that might be bending the rules of a traditional Nuzlocke a bit on account of you having almost certainly having had at least one encounter in the cave before you'd make it to him, unless you for some reason already knew where you were going and used a bunch of Repels to get there.

I'd suggest special ribbons or something over random items, that way any Poke-People who beat a 'trial' would be able to show it off. Though you could still have them give you an item in place of the TM's they would normally give the player. Just a thought.

In all the times I've played through HG/SS I've never even found where you'd go about putting in a code, much less knowing what the code even was lol.

The two battle frontier people 'looked' female in a vid I pulled up to get a better angle, but it still wasn't the best.
When I look at phamacy man all I can think of is Piloswine for some reason lol.

i thought about this part some more...

and i thought about leaving baby togepi at the poke-day care center a little after they hatch... (the old man and old lady would be a ... umm... a old male Pawniard and a old female Pawniard)

and maybe off screen, '' I '' could level him/her up... and once we get back to them in comic, they'd maybe have evolved :o
