Urghhh. GP's inno, Draskk was inno, and I'm kicking myself for not going with my gut and voting aeternum. Who will probably also turn out inno, considering how our luck has been so far. At least we seem to have a cop now?

Bard, would you mind if I used the magnifying glass to check out the gold chunk?

EDIT: Oh right I was confused about something. Why did we get both Elektra Heart and Merlin back?

Maybe it has something to do with the Ei and the Ie having disappeared? Why, specifically, did Merlin return? So far deaths have been either because of misguided voting, association with cursed objects/spells, or supposedly "natural" accidents. I still don't really know what the point of all that fire nonsense was with aeternum, but it's like txteclipse says... I don't want to judge just yet for fear of aeternum being innocent. From now on I am going to try to think carefully using my own thoughts and intuition instead of riding the bandwagon before voting. I also need to review some old posts in hopes to find some clues...
Also in what "form" will Elektra Heart and Merlin return in?! I'm kind of afraid... it was all fun and games at first, but I don't know what to expect now... They're still Nice... right?

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong (I'm really busy at work and I don't have a lot of time to check), but didn't Elektra and Merlin both die in a similar way? Each was holding the Ei at the time and each died from some sort of elemental blast, right? Now that GP has turned up inno, it makes a stronger case that the Ei is the cursed item Twiggy has been talking about. Maybe it didn't kill GP because "it'd take a lot to kill him" as Twiggy said in the investigation report.

In that sense, perhaps the Ei just regurgitates whoever it killed when it's combined with the Ie. I dunno, it's the best I've got right now.

EDIT: Oh wait no, Elektra Heart was voted out. She still got hit by the elemental blast thing though while she was holding the Ei.

The phase change text makes me think so, since they're still listed as nice. Nothing to worry about there imo.

Actually, scratch what I said before. I'm gonna trust my gut on the Ei being the cursed item. [Use Magnifying Glass] on Bardburgers.

So with that said regarding Ketsu, Draskk was sort of quick to agree with me and jump on him, and it's interesting because I think the post where he voted was his first significant contribution to the game other than interacting with items. It was kind of out of the blue and feels off to me, so there's a place to start maybe?

I know there's a few people I wouldn't lynch - jd and Sword Master are off the table I think (if we need them to resurrect Elektra) and there's a couple of other people I would be against lynching because I'm town reading them

I don't know if you saw my previous comment, but can you please elaborate your case on why we should lynch Draskk? Even if it's all hogwash in the end, I want to be convinced we're doing the right thing.

I know it's a little late to respond now that the day has ended, but I don't know if there's much more to elaborate on other than what I said in the post you quoted. I was pressure voting Ketsu to see his reactions and try and get more info from him. But then Draskk seemed quick to agree and jump on, it felt a little opportunistic. Honestly, I'll admit the reasoning wasn't very strong, but we needed to get a lynch in and we were low on time.

I'd say there's about 4-5 mafia (assuming Twiggy didn't go overboard with the setup), possibly an independent/third party? (not sure about this, haven't seen anything that might indicate a third party)

Whoa, slow down there. I explained my vote for you further here. I just wanted you to talk more because it would help me sort you out. Did you even read what I said in this post? Why be so defensive here? And furthermore, why not vote for me if you truly thought I was scummy? Why not vote for aeternum if you thought he was scummy?

I agree that you all shouldn't trust me blindly. I've kind of been encouraging you all to ask me questions, but most people haven't really bothered?
 
So, I've been watching you all very carefully. I'm not the best at coming up with reads on people based on observing, so for now I'll keep my suspicions quiet and hope they slip up or are proven innocent. I also know what the "have to find a new form" means, obviously, and I can assure you it has no huge significance. It is nothing but a trivial set-back. I'm also a bit perplexed on why gimmepie's getting special protection, but honestly, if it means another confirmed innocent, I'm all for it.

This is something I've been confused about. Do you have to actually "own" an item before you can use it or can anyone perform an action with any keyword at any time? I think I've seen at least a few cases where someone successfully used an item another person had in their possession. *cough* aeternum eating things *cough*

I think it would depend on the situation. Eating things is kind of a one off thing but if you're carrying certain items around you could obviously use them again and again and you definitely can't use an item someone else is holding I'd guess.

Still, any questions like that really need to be answered by Twiggy xD
