Hopefully they would satiate all counterpart megas like they did with Sableye, but I wouldn't want to see a Dusknoir one tbh. Dusknoir itself is an evolved form of Dusclops, and it's bad enough that Banette didn't get the same.

I totally agree that Gallade should get one, because at the time he was introduced there were barely two physical psychic moves and Gardevoir is now a Fairy-type, so she's got a boost again. Gallade's mega doesn't have to change much, though.

Yeah, they could just give it a larger head crest, maybe make it feather like to make him look more Gladiator like. Also maybe a slightly bulkier body, or make it look like it has armor. They could raise his defenses and attack.

That's good ideas you've got there. Gallade's main hole would be the defence stats, so I'll have to agree that it'd be better if Gallade gets better defence. While Gallade has a sleek body, armour like you said may just make Gallade look even better.

It'll become a speedy tank if they do that :). I noticed that they raised Gardevoir's special defenses in it's Mega, so Gallade will probably get that for defense, leaving it's special defense as it's main weak point.

Speaking of Pokemon that could use defense if they were to make a Mega Rampardos I'll like to see it get a boost in defense, and some in speed.

Moving one generation of Pokemon ahead, one Pokemon I would really like to see get a Mega is Haxorus. I would like it to be Dragon/Steel and get a boost in speed and defense. It could get the ability moxie.

And that's what megas are all about, aren't they? I really like your ideas for mega Rampardos and Haxorus, too. Giving Haxorus the ability Moxie and adding the Steel type would give him back the edge against Fairies as well as make him a better sweeper with his already humongous attack and improved speed.

Mega Haxorus seems like it'd be cool though I want Pokemon in two-stage lines or with no evolutions in Generation 5 to get a Mega Evolution, especially Druddigon and Sigilyph.

I'd kinda want Mega Rampardos to get more Attack, Speed, and Rock Head. That would be amazing....though maybe a little OP.

Funny thing about a Dragon/Steel Mega Haxrous is that I was thinking it'd be cool if Hydreigon got a mega with the same typing, partly because Hydreigon was originally designed to be a cyborg dragon. and that is ♥♥♥♥ing awesome. Though a Dragon/Steel Mega Haxorus is pretty cool; it has the perfect look for it, if you ask me.

But we NEED another Dragon/Steel Pokemon regardless.

If any fifth generation Pokemon gets a Mega evolution, I really hope it's Druddigon! Maybe with a new typing, and some buffs to make it an extremely dangerous Pokemon. I appreciate the need for Pokemon without any evolution to create a bit of balance, but I'd still like to see some of them get Megas in the future. Maybe Torkoal gets one in ORAS! :]

All the points made are very valid in regards to Banette and Dusknoir.
Though they are version exclusives though, won't it be unfair if only one version get another extra Mega Stone (In the case, Banette's) and the other version doesn't get one for Dusknoir?
I can only foresee the 2 becoming non-version exclusives if Dusknoir isn't going to get a Mega form.

I think if there are Mega Flygon and Mega Salamence in ORAS, they will be version exclusive like Mega Tyranitar and Mega Aggron in XY

- Salamence and Tyranitar are Pseudo-legendaries
- Flygon and Aggron are Semi Pseudo-legendaries

In some of the pictures released with Steven, it looks like he has a Key Stone on his suit to the left of his body, similar to what's on redesigned Maxie's glasses and Archie's necklace. This could confirm Steven having a Mega evolution, but the question following that would be, is it going to be Aggron, or a new Mega like Metagross?

Actually him Mega Evolving Charizard into Mega Charizard X confirms that he has access to Mega Evolution. Now I just hope he doesn't actually use Mega Charizard X. Perhaps it's a placeholder for a future Mega they'll like to reveal later like Mega Metagross.

I don't think that Flygon and Salamence will get exclusive Megas, seeing how they're available in both RS(E) and they tend to keep the exclusives of the originals the same.
Zangoose and Seviper could get exclusive Megas. Same with Solrock and Lunatone. Hey...since mega evolution is one Mega per person during a battle Liza and Tate can Mega evolve both of their Pokémon at once. We thought they were hard in RSE? Well wait until you see them now...
Not sure what ability they'll get though...Solid Rock? Sure they'll lose their 'no damage' to rock but now they'll only take 1 1/2 from it and all of its other weaknesses.

I guess I meant on his actual team, because right now I believe (and hope) that the Mega Charizard X is a way of showing the character how to use Mega evolution, and not a new member of his team. You're right though, and to add on to that; his obvious interest in Mega stones as is shown in several screenshots of his dialogue while talking with the player.

Does anyone forsee a Luvdisc Mega Evolution? It's kind of weak so it could use a normal evolution for next generation instead of a Mega now.
Castform,Minun and Plusle could get one. What about Kecleon? It's outclassed by Greninja when it comes to having Protean as an ability.

Are we still discussing that leaked ORAS poster showing silhouettes of Ludicolo, Shiftry, Sableye, Flygon, Camerupt, Sharpedo, Zangoose, Seviper, Salamence, Metagross, and Lati@s? Seeing as we've got Mega Sableye and Mega Lati@s, I'm assuming these are the only remaining new Mega Evos to be announced.

I would find that hilarious, because Hydreigon reminds me of King Ghidorah, who also has a cyborg version, from the Godzilla films. It definitely makes more sense for him to get a Steel typing upon Mega Evolution rather than Haxorus.

Ah, that poster. How convenient that all the Western Hoenn favorites are in there! [/sarcasm]

I don't believe anything until I see it in CoroCoro or Nintendo releases.

Word to live by, especially since everything that was expected to be released has already occurred for this month. Until July, most ORAS news should be taken with a grain of salt, unless of course it's from Nintendo themselves. Usually that means it's legitimate, haha. I'm hoping Metagross gets a Mega evolution to complement Steven as his ace Pokemon. :]

Don't forget Mega Milotic for Wallace. I think all of the aces should (and possibly could) get Megas. Meaning we could possibly get Megas for Probopass, Hariyama, (Manectric already has one), Torcoal, Slacking, Altaria, Solrock and Lunatone, Ludicolo for Juan if he is featured(and since it has a counterpart Shiftry), (Absol could be Sydney's Mega, or he'll get Crawdaunt, or Mightyena), (Phoebe could use Mega Banette, or Dusknoir could get one), Walrein, Salamence or Flygon (I perfer Salamence especially if Steven has Mega Metagross.)

I highly doubt gym leaders are going to use Megas. XY didn't and we know Korina had a Mega. Archie, Maxie, Steven, and rival will probably be the only ones with Megas. There may be a few other battles that use them. There was only 4 battles with Megas in XY.

Also, Flygon and Salamence will probably not be version exclusives because they were in all three games, not to mention Salamence is a Psudo and Flygon is not. (Then again, they didn't stop that happening in XY)

I do kinda hope all Elite 4 have Megas though and Norman.

Well Hoenn is known for the bonds of it's people and Pokémon (irc Hoenn's motto is that...) so it'll make sense if more of it's people could use Megas. Of course due to Roxanne and Brawly not having their ace evolved Wattson could be the first one to use it. He's also the third gym leader like Korrina was so it'll fit in if we get our Mega Bracelet (yay it's correctly named unlike the Mega Ring that isn't a true "ring"...) around that time too. It'll also make Megas less of a game braker.

Anyways even if they don't get them I hope their ace Pokémon do get Megas.
