Minecraft Ultra Hardcore

Quick question about the UHC. Is this in 1.8 or some other version
 
Not sure if i will be able to join (i have stuff to do before it starts) but if i can my minecraft name is baconoftime
 
That time on Sunday is horribly, horribly inconvenient for me and I may not be able to make it because of that. But either way I'll try.

I'm in the exact same boat.

I also wonder how the teams will be split. Surely not by region, as some regions will be more heavily represented than others. If teams are of mixed regions, and each region in the winning team gets a proportional number of glory points based on how many team members are from that region, then it makes no difference to have more than one UHC session at different times to let more people around the world play.

This sounds like a great idea. As with others, I'm in the "this is a reeeaaally bad time for me" boat. I really want to take part in this, but a midnight-3am timeframe is just impossible. Unless I'm put on a team that's okay with potentially losing a member to sleepyness halfway into the match.
 
Personally I'm ok with the event being moved to Saturday, but I'll have to talk to the other hosts about it first.

Edit: as far as teams go, we have a couple different approaches. but first we need to see how many people are signing up and how many are representing each region.
 
If the event gets moved, or if the risk of dropping out mid-game is an acceptable one, my IGN is AU486.
