Since we just got confirmation of a 15-minute Direct for Sword & Shield, figures I might as well highlight a topic or two for our British, I mean, Galarian chapter.

For Generation VIII, are there any moves in particular you'd like to see get a buff?

    Here are my personal choices.

    1. Submission
A Fighting-type move that plenty of Generation I Pokémon can learn by TM. A buff from 80BP to 120BP may justify it's low accuracy a little better, but an accuracy boost to at least 90% shouldn't be problematic, given it's low distribution to Pokémon in subsequent Generations.

This helps give many physically-inclined Kanto Pokémon an optional, but high-risk, high-reward alternative if you prefer a high PP Fighting-type attack over Superpower.

    2. Power Gem
It's one of the only two Special Rock-type attacks, alongside Ancient Power, not counting Hidden Power. A buff to 80BP seems reasonable.

    3. Arm Thrust
Mainly to give Mega Heracross a fierce Fighting-type move. A buff to 25 BP goes terrifically well alongside Bullet Seed, Pin Missile and Rock Blast.

    4. Trop Kick
While Tsareena does get Power Whip in USUM, her signature move deserves some improvement in raw power. 80BP can give her a signature variant of Lunge.

It would be nice if Draining Kiss did 70/80 damage instead of 50.

I'd also like to see more Special Dark type moves in general.

The first move that comes to my mind here is Quash. Completely useless in single battles. This move should be buffed so that it either does damage, or makes the opponent move last for multiple turns.

And what about Slam? Normal type, 80 BP, low accuracy, and no effect? If that doesn't call for a buff, I don't know what does.

I want Lick to have a special effect for Lickitung and Lickilicky, similar to how Water Shuriken changes for Ash Greninja. A boost in base power to 120 BP or something? So that it has the same power as an 80 BP STAB move.

More signature and semi-signature moves should follow suit. Oh and give Castform's Weather Ball an even stronger boost than usual! And while it's not a signature move, Cherrim's Solar Beam or Petal Blizzard should get the same treatment, too. Basically any Pokémon shafted by its base stats should get the Ash Greninja's Water Shuriken treatment.

I want let's go's competitive use for teleport.
The only new change I could think of is Snore
It could really use a buff, it is so weak and nearly useless

While some moves are quite weak, some attacks should be weak imo.

Slam could use a buff to accuracy. Quash though... I disagree, personally. It is not the only move designed for double battles - see Helping Hand, for example. (Nevermind Splash - useless in any battle, but it does have a use in other modes like contests). Meanwhile Quash has use in doubles, to my knowledge.

I think the damage of all moves should be halved. Or every pokemon's hp should be doubled. Battles are too short.

Make splash an OHKO move and bring Magikarp to ubers.

Pardon me, perhaps I should have been more specific. Kyurem does not possess the suitable anatomy to perform any fist-based movement , but Bkyurem does... I think.
