    so for example,

Person A: I don't like pikachu because it's too popular

Person B: Pikachu deserves its popularity due to being cute and cool at the same time. Gogoat.

    lets start off with Geodude.

Geodude is a great introduction to rock type pokemon since gen 1 games were the first ones. It's a rock monster, nice and easy to understand.

For me it's gotta be Landorus-T mainly cuz it's ugly and an annoying menace in competitive.

Uuuugh I wish I could like Zarude... it's really scary. :(

While admittedly not being for everyone, I'd say it's about time we had our first real evil monkey theme pokemon. to top it off, i'd say this is first new mythical that's very uh pokemon-esque. Not the biggest fan of legends but i love how this monkey generates its own vines to swing on and hangs in packs

This Zarude left its pack to raise a human child. The cloth Zarude would wrap the child with has a comforting scent that calmed the child's crying.

i actually just discovered a new pokemon i like so uh... thanks for that lol XD

Volbeat/Illumise.... why did they turn fireflies into a negative human stereotype with neck pillows?

Illumise is an extremely good ally to have around in Mystery Dungeon DX. Moonlight without PP is a very good move. As for Volbeat, well, it's based on a greaser, which I think is pretty cool.

I'd like someone to convince me Electivire has redeeming qualities, because it's probably the worst evolution gameplay-wise.

Electivire has good coverage moves, like Earthquake, the elemental punches, and Cross Chop.

    Granbull is ugly.

Sceptile is a special attacker but many players make it physical because its special move pool sucks.

sceptile may be lacklustre in battle but makes up for as being the niche first grass lizard and first of its kind (one of the fastest grass types ) as very fast starter. It also has a unique typing in mega evolution.

(not much to say sadly as i do not like sceptile that much myself)

Wingull and Pelipper are water type zubats. change my mind.

Wingull and Pelipper are unique in that they are the only line that isn't an example of one species of bird just getting bigger. Instead, it's two totally different birds - a seagull when it's a Wingull and a pelican when it's a Pelipper. They are also standouts for the unique design choice of their eyes, which is highly reminiscent of the Fleischer Studios era of cartoons in the early 1900s.

    I don't like Druddigon.

Druddigon is charming in its strangeness... its pure Dragon typing, it being a single-stage, its design. I just find myself fascinated by Pokémon like Druddigon.

Sorry, Fearow. You've been the target of my ire for quite a while now, but hopefully someone else thinks you're more than a bland, forgettable bird.

At least it looks like it would be fun to eat on Thanksgiving.

I don't like Squishy. How can anyone like Squishy? It is the most non Pokemon looking Pokemon ever and not to mention very forgettable. What is it even supposed to be? The ice cream cone and garbage Pokemon are way better than this thing. Why GameFreak, just why???!??

Well, if you're that tired of stall, Shuckle should be right up your alley - it deals the most damage (in a single turn) ever!

I don't like Electrode because Voltorb should have evolved into a Great Ball 😤

    I agree.

Uhh it learns hypnosis, so when the AI is spamming on you it'll sometimes miss and you get a free turn.

I don't like rhyperior. Rhydon is so much sleeker looking.

That's true, but having a held item trade evo is still valuable. People would trade you something nice for a Rhyperior, also it does get that little bump with attack, defense and hp by evolving, and frees you up to hold any item you want if you use of you use it to battle, don't have to worry about losing your eviolite.

Propobass is an eyesore. Who likes that groucho Marx mustache?

Has many resistances, can take some hits, has just enough offenses to work. Although as far as mons with the same typing go I'd petsonally rather have Aggron because it has more offensive power to make up for having two quad weaknesses.

As for the design since that's probably the context, it's alright. True, the moustache is too much, but most of the creature looks fine. It could have been worse.

Like Stonjourner! Feel free to convince me how it can be good, I just don't like it because it just feels pointless.

uh... there's probably some kid whos first game was Sword Shield and is really into stone henges and absolutely adores these painfully mundane rocks.

i really dislike pignite. it's painfully cartoonish for pokemon standards and doesn't have any appeal from a design perspective to me. right did they go for round anyway?
