There is a new thread of claiming Video Games and Video Game Characters (two separate things) so in our "About Me" under the "Claims section", can we possibly add two sub-tabs for these categories so we can update them? Thanks!

For what it's worth, I think a lot of the categories could be outright removed, too, since a lot of their claim threads don't even exist anymore.

edit: Kind of sniped, haha. One big category probably makes a lot of sense too, although for people who have a looot of claims, it could be difficult to read their claim section if it's all in plaintext even if they format it as nicely as they can. If the categories are on the profile at all, it's probably not too big a deal to just keep them split up. There are only... what, three or four threads now? That's not an obnoxious amount of categories or anything, imo.

Still, I think the sub sections under the claims section in our profiles keeps it well organized. If a person was wanting to look at one thing than they could easily find it. One big category for claims just seems messy, in my opinion.

The outcome would depend on user, I think. Say, if you have a lot of different claims and keep categories separated with line-breaks and whatnot, then it wouldn't look as messy as you might imagine. If they're all included in one, single list though, then yeah, it would look pretty disorganized. d:

I noticed that while I was editing my profile earlier; there's a couple unnecessary or irrelevant categories there right now because they don't exist \: I'm personally on board with merging everything together and just manually separating them with symbols, line breaks, etc.

True to that. I guess in the end I feel a change needs to be made whether or not new sub sections needed to be added and some deleted, or we just merge everything into one. Either way, the end result is the same so I can't really complain.

The whole organization would depend entirely on the user. But as someone who knows that clutter could bother others, and of course myself (can be kind of OCD about how things look), I know where you're coming from with the different categories. Regardless of whether they're merged or not, it would be up to the user in how they manage to organize everything; end result would probably be the same, similar to what Peitharchia mentioned.

Why not just get rid of claims entirely? curveball

A general claims section of the profile would be much better and easier to keep up to date.

I use the empty claims sections to fill up more information about me on my profile, so it makes sense to just...merge them all together, so I'm in agreement with that. :D

While I don't think the opinion of few applies to the masses I doubt anyone would have major complaints regarding this :P

I prefer it being broken down and separated, but if merged into a box, one may still format it to easily list out one's claims. my about me is readable after all, yes?

I forwarded this onward to ye mighty vessel.
