Richie, the rumble's integrated into the controller. Remember the fishing game that they were using to demonstrate the controller? Every time they got a bite, the controller rumbled.

12:30...apparently they're planning to begin on time, so...
*goes to Eurogamer's live feed* XD

*will edit this post as more info is revealed*

It started. Mainly just clips of Zelda and other games using the Wiimote. Metroid Prime 3 and Fire Emblem too. However, they did say one thing:

They're not gonna reveal the date and price this E3. Q4 2006 is all we get. >>

TP will be released alongside the Wii. For the Wii. >>

Wiimote has a speaker. It's confirmed. And rumble.

Two versions of TP will be released. One for the GC and one for the Wii. They'll both be released on Wii launch day.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Super Mario Galaxy coming for Wii.

27 Wii games will be playable at E3 tomorrow. o_o;

Apparently the games look no different than PS2/GC games.

Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon Red and Blue coming to the US on September 18th.

Blaze I soooooooooooooo got you. The Wii WILL have a rumble pack. HA! XD

"There's also a depth of sound effect. The Wii remote has a speaker. "You'll hear the bow-string go taut." The sound will run from the controller to the screen where it'll be heard impacting."
I like that. I mean it'll be great to hear a shot fired on an FPS and hear it hit the wall over on the TV. SWEET!!!!

Edit:
13:19.56 -
Diddy Kong Racing DS, Yoshi's Island 2, Starfox DS are all up, logos. No trailers.

13:19.27 -
Talk about DS Lite, and New Super Mario Bros. "Which is the very picture of old school." It does look a bit sexy.
Pokemon Blue Mystery Dungeon and companion Red version for Game Boy coming soon too. Already huge sellers in Japan - due in US on Sept 18th.

STARFOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted a Starfox game on the DS for ages. THANK YOU NINTENDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wii's gonna stay on and connected to the internet 24/7 through a "Standby Mode". It'll also use the Opera browser. o_O;

Always on, always online, and it as a web browser. I just hope it has something like MSN where you can chat and talk to friends and that sort of stuff.

13:28.32 -
The Wii will also help this. Virtual Console games and Opera browser saved to flash ROM will load in just a few seconds.

13:29.30 -
"Let me describe one more hardware feature." No console does anything when it's off, he says. "We designed a machine to provide a variety of services even when it seems like it is turned off." It will be the "system that never sleeps". "Wii Connect 24" will auto standby, but still do key functions.

13:30.18 -
This means the Wii console can be constantly connected, he says. Devs can push new content to you even while you sleep. "Starting with something like Animal Crossing, any time the console is in standby they may find a friend has visited their village and left a message or a gift."

13:30.45 -
"Programmers won't need to write a single line of code - networking software is included in the hardware."
"What we are aiming for is a system that is new every day."

Well, it's all over, and I can't help but feel disappointed. No release date for TP or the Wii, no price for the Wii, two versions of TP.

And what happened to the big surprise?

Andy: less then an hour and counting... says:
Ok, we've heard of two new things on the controller. 1 is the speaker (and microphone I guess), that's totally new and will add to the feel of the game (hearing the shot from the controller and then hear it hit on the TV).
And the second is the Accelerometer. Now before that came out the Wiiremote couldn't stab or that sort of stuff. It's like making a 2D game into a 3D one.

I'm also sort of disappointed. But at least I can say I'm more happy about the Nintendo Press Conference then with the Sony one. We got a few new things, some new games. I do wish they put out the price and date. But them two things we can more or less guess (somewhere around November and around 200-250 dollars).

I'm not that dissapointed with the conference(I set my expectations low), I had already predicted that they wouldn't reveal anything about price or release dates just yet. The controller has rumble and a speaker on it, got to see some DS and Wii games but no D/P info, dang. They didn't show Super Smash Bros!!

Here is what I saw and liked:

Super Mario Galaxy
Metroid Prime 3 Corruption
The sports game thing
Crystal Chronicles
LoZ:TP
Red Steel
Sonic!!(woot!)
Disaster...something
Madden

What were the names for the other IPs that Nintendo showed today? All I remember is Disaster...

DS Games!!

Pokemon Dungeon
Starfox DS!!(woot!!)
Yoshi's Island 2(woot!)
Diddy Kong Racing
Final Fantasy III

The big suprise are the things leaked from EGM/Time.

24 Hour Connectivity and the built in speakrs/rumble.

Nintendo being online 24/7 has endless abilities meaning, a whole games landscape can be changed within one days. And if you didn't notice, they said ALL games will be online which means like LoZ, they could periodically change the theme depending on season, month, and year.

Nintendo once again scored big time, but you need to think as a Nintendo Exec and NOT a fanboy. Nintendo Execs are clever, I mean if they could make profit off the Nintendo GameCube than they must be pretty darn smart ;P

And YAY for Wii being White ;D

Edit: Nintendo will state that at a later time, to keep Sony off guard. As we have all learned yesterday, you can never trust Sony.

You guys are lucky that you got to watch the conference already ._.;; I'm at a school computer so a lot of sites and stuff are blocked @@;;;

I think I'm going to wait to see what sort of games are coming out for both consoles before I decide to buy one ._.~

I do like that idea if seasons change.
But what I think it's mainly for is MMORPGs. Think about it, wouldn't you like to play an MMORPG and things change from month to month (seasons change and so on)? I would.

That's what I said on MSN. Nintendo might have thought "Well if we give out a date today Sony will come along and slap their release date a week before the Wii and will hurt us".

I wish I could have watched it live. I don't got DSL so watching it was out of the question. <_<

I forgot to say Fire Emblem and Wario Ware!!

The Fire Emblem teaser looked good. The speaker built into the controller is a nice idea, it will bring you closer so to speak.

The 24/7 online thing is great, we could receive updates without having to actually turn it on and download the file and stuff like that. I'm also surprised that they didn't give us any info on the Virtual Console or anything. I wonder what the 27 playable games will be? They definetely didn't show 27 games there....

Likely the ones seen there. And I hope SSB is one of the ones that'll be playable games.

I expect Wii to come out around October ;P but deffiantly before November 17th, Nintendo isn't stupid.
It should come out around October. October for all the people that's going to run out and get one as soon as it comes out. And by the time the November comes around (best time to buy stuff for Christmas) they'll have Wiis there for people to buy.
