It says in the guide you can't use Unown to obtain Fully evolved Pokemon, though?

You cannot use Unown to:
- Speedrun a Master Challenge (10 VPPs)
- Obtain Legendary Pokémon
- Obtain GMax Pokémon
- Obtain Mega Pokémon
- Obtain Alpha Pokémon
- Obtain Noble Pokémon
- Obtain Regional Pokémon *unless you have an existing regional stone*
- Obtain Pairs & Tros
- Obtain Fully Evolved Pokémon
- To complete the "Gone Mental Challenge" (requires 6 Psychic Types)

I want you to know that I saw this before the edit, assumed it was just a c+p that you forgot to update, and did the numbers anyway but with 15,205 as your post count. And now I can't be bothered to go back and change it so you technically just got a -1 post reduction to this Unown for that mistake lol.

Indeed, you cannot raise fully evolved Pokémon with Unown. In the same way every VPP begins as an egg, every Unown-borne VPP begins as a basic, unevolved Pokémon.

But logistically, the vast majority of final evolution Pokémon names are much longer than their NFE counterparts. After a certain point, names become too long and you'd always end up with a higher post requirement than if you just requested it normally. Out of ALL the Pokémon that have an evolution and are obtainable through Unown in VPP, only 38 have names with 9 letters or more and are considered "unviable" for this strategy. Imagine if you wanted Crabominable? Heck no, you'd never see the beneficial discount that Unown are meant to provide or have to think critically about whether using the Unown mechanic is worth it. NFE Pokémon are the way to go!

So it makes better sense to just give you the choice to fully evolve it when you're done! :D
