Waves. Welcome to VPP (and the forums). To request a VPP, first get up to 10 posts. After that, fill out the Individual form in the first post of this very thread and post it in this thread. Allows you to pick most Pokemon, but not all. Cannot choose Unowns, legendaries, Ultra Beasts, Megas, Gigantamaxes, Pairs/Trios, Alphas, or Terastallized Pokemon for your first one. Unlocks the ability to request those after you accumulate more points and/or Pokemon.

Recommends glancing at the VPP Rules and Guide thread. Goes over all the rules and particulars. Do not worry about understanding all of it immediately. Points to the "Rules" and the "Get More" sections as the most useful for a newcomer. Feel free to ask any questions in the VPP Community DCC thread or message a VPP moderator.

Clears a 30-story building in a single leap. How fast would Blaziken leave the ground?

V0 = sqrt(2 * g * height).
g = 9.8. Goes with 4.3 meters per story from Wikipedia (which varies, apparently).
V0 = sqrt(2 * 9.8 * 4.3 * 30)
V0 = 50.28 meters per second

How fast is that?

50.28 m/s * (1 km / 1000 m) * (60 s / 1 min) * (60 min / 1 hour) = 181 kilometers per hour (or 112.5 miles per hour).

Technically goes a little faster. Clears the building, indicating a greater height than 30 stories. Now imagine this 52 kilogram (114.6 pound) chicken crashing into you at those speeds.
