Official School Ending/ Summer discussion thread for 2004

    I am getting out school on June 16, earlier than last year. I think that's we had a shortened Spring Break. I cannot, literally, cannot wait for summer. It's going to be my healing period because this year has been so horrible. When does everybody get out of school?

    My last day is June 21st. So much later than everyone elses though... only 30 more days... only! That's still a whole month away. And we go back to school on August 30th. This year we started school on August 28th... so we start two days later this year... but that's because my first day this year is a Monday again. Oh well... I don't really get to enjoy my summer since I'll be working anyway...
     
    I get out of school on June 3rd. It feels like It'll never get here. May feels like it's going by so slow. Well, I really hope that this summer will be really great. It's a bit ruined though since fr/lg doesn't come out until a little after I go back to school. Since it's released when school starts for me, I don't care much for those games as much anymore. School starting would get in the way. Of course it still won't keep me from buying them. I just won't be as excited. Well, at least Pokemon DVD's and Pokemon GBA Video stuff will be out this summer. :)
     
    Last year I got out of school on June 27, because of that "blizzard" where I missed a week of school. That's why they gave us a shortened spring break this year, incase we had another snow incident.

    They did that to us last year too...instead of getting out June 4th, we got out on June 11th...I don't understand how they can penalize us for the weather, and even more why the state wouldn't forgive us that week worth of snow days...bah.
     
    That's why I get out so late this year... we were supposed to get out June 16th but we had three snow days... actually more like two snow days and a cold day!
    It's not our fault we live in New England and have messed up weather! We can't control the weather! Even without the snow days I'd still get out so much later than all of you! But I remember one yar we had so many snow days that it did cut into our spring break. I just hope that doesn't happen again! Stupid snow...
     
    I actually don't remember...I know they've done that to us in the past, but I actually can't remember if they cut any days off of spring break last year...

    This year they actually lengthened spring break because we only had 2 or 3 snow days...
     
    My school ends on May 28th. 14.5 more days of school! Mwahahahahahahahaha!

    I hate the exam schedule for the 25th though. I have Gym from our lunch period until we get dismissed. That's like 5 hours X.x I hate my school system...

    I get out on June 9th, like Cosmo, but unfortunately, I have a shortened summer. I go back to school on August 16th I believe. Bleah.....
    But, at least I get off in May something next year!

    I get out June 2. We were gonna get out on May 23, but we missed alot of school cuz of Snow Days. But uh yeah... we start school on like August 21..
     
    My list of states that I will be in this summer consists of:
    New Jersey [where I live, and my aunt's apartment]
    Maryland [my dad's house]
    Pennsylvania [My cousin's condo]
    And possibly one or two other states if I go to my family reunions.
