Beautiful.
You know me, I'm an optimist.
Edit: I need to get some sleep, thanks guys. See you in a few more years.
It's more that people found it hilarious, I guess.
I did a thing again. Sorry.What just happened here
Reminds me of RollerCoaster Tycoon, lol. Handymen make $50/mo, Security guards $60/mo, Mechanics $80/mo, and... Entertainers get $55/mo. Those wages are certifiable garbage lol no wonder you gotta move outSo guys, tomorrow is going to be the last day at my job. I'm going to miss all of the people there, and honestly above all I'm going to miss the memories and the experiences I've had while working there, but I really do feel a new chapter of my life is about to open, because working at a theme park is starting to tire me out.
I'm looking into applying into other areas of hospitality, like hotels or something. They seem hella relaxing, plus I think they make a decent amount of money? At least, they make a lot more than I am lol. @_@; So ye, a front desk clerk position doesn't sound all too bad.

It's really a shame there isn't a whole lot of places where I can apply that would require a short commute, though. ~_~;; Hotels are all around me so I suppose they're my only options, but still...would like to have a bit more variety in choice.
Yeah, you're right! I actually live right next to a five-star hotel, and they're actually hiring for front desk clerks, so I want to look into that first. :o My only problem is preparation for the job interview. Not that I think I'll do poorly given my experience in the general hospitality industry, but I want to learn more about negotiating wages and see whether or not that actually reflects badly or whether the interviewer just doesn't care.
Yeah, I figure. .-. thanks for the advice! So basically, it all has to do with the exact timing of the question and negotiation...so when I hear that I'm officially hired, then I start negotiating wages if applicable, right? Hopefully I don't screw it up. ;__; I also hear that it's better to give them a range to work with rather than exact figures.
Sometimes the Department of Transportation wants you to go through hell and half of Georgia to get down the street. you know, to see the city and stuff!Man, what's important to me above all else is whether or not I can feasibly get to work given public transportation, here. So that limits my options by quite a bit, sadly...
The most I'll do is prob take one bus to work and that'll be it. It's ridiculous that I currently have to take two or three (depending on my shift and overall bus schedules) to get to my current one, even though realistically by a car it's like 15 mins away. >.>;;
Over 12 hours and no one has posted?! Where are my DCC people at :((
