The United States is an awesome place to live. People just bitch way too much.

Wel, you say that but I you'd not be thinking that if you were a black, female, arabian, furry, murderer necrophile who has a drug addiction.

So that's why they're all unemployed. Okay.

I knew a guy from Ohio, I'd probably hear something like that out of him.

One of the victims was wearing an affliction shirt, so I mean, he was probably asking for it...

Why?

I'm not rocking the boat, I just wanna hear this from someone who doesn't live here.

Jeesz, I know see what a mess my sentence was. I also am not American, so I am really just talking bullshit here.

I tire of the racism in our country. I tire of the hate, of the negativity. I tire of the ruthless lack of a social safety net, I have a cousin who can barely get by. And on top of that she'd likely be trashed if not assaulted for asking for any aid. It is tough and ain't nobody out there to prevent you from falling into poverty. She's had to sink really low to stay afloat, and for that I'm really happy to hear she wants to live with us.

It's like people can't bear to just not care, to just be happy! What's so difficult about that? Is life so grim and complicated? Isn't this all we know is here? Let's enjoy it. Sometimes I feel like I'm surrounded by people who want nothing but to bicker and fight at the dinner table, and I'm just here to eat and move on.

Not caring about the spikes at the bottom of the pit aren't going to make your landing more pleasant...

Am I in the Mystic Cave Zone on Sonic now?

That's why I have my GameGenie.

In all honesty not caring about the inevitable makes a hell of a lot more sense than worrying about it until it happens. Saves you from a lot of the perceived pain besides what's actual.

I don't understand it. Am I doomed for pain in life? Are you trying to tell me it's suffering? Isn't that all the more reason to be positive and carefree? Or are you saying something else? o.O

Because people debating whether or not Frozen was good, whether or not Ridley is too big to be playable in Smash Bros., and whether or not Han Solo should've shot first are just as important as poverty and wars.

compared to other places America is not that bad. every country has huge problems of their own, so I think it kinda evens out. in the grand scheme of things I'm very glad I live here. (but I am upper-middle white boy so)

In context to your last message, you mean that racism, hate and a lack of a social security net are inevitable? I mean, I totally get you're not happy with them, but not caring about them really doesn't solve those problems.

Frozen is kind of the most average thing ever. it makes me feel nothing in either direction pretty much. it gets a little annoying but it's also kinda touching at times, I guess? it gets a 'meh' from me. you're not missing much.

these are exactly the kind of cold, overanalytical respones that I detest, and I don't think that sort of mentality is going to solve anything. Humanity isn't some blueprint you can "figure out" and "fix." It just is. It's not all that bad. Enjoy it.

I think you're going to have quite the unpleasant time trying to "make it better," just saying.

This was actually a debate I've been having with myself a few weeks ago. :( Meaning, I've tried asking some of my co-workers whether or not Frozen actually was good, but I've gotten mixed responses overall! Mostly on the negative side though. u______u At this point I probably haven't missed a whole lot by not seeing the movie.

Frozen is a mediocre flick with some great songs. That's my opinion. If you've heard the songs, you can skip the movie. All the references are about the songs anyway.

Trying to solve things is not going to solve anything? I don't follow your train of thought, like, at all...

Yet it's the highest grossing film since the Lion King, which is a good achievement. Even a king needs to get dethroned after staying on top for too long, which is why I hope the upcoming Zelda game dethrones OoT so long as it's not affected by the Zelda cycle.

How much of humanity's "bad things" were shed during the hippie movement, where we just lit up, fucked whatever, and didn't give a fuck? The hippies were not intellectually extraordinary at all. But they brought a lot of love into society, and a lot of uniting. They didn't think life was all that, I'd say I share their mentality. You should too.

I am not sure where you got this info as the highest grossing film of all time is Avatar, which came out in, what, 2008 or somethin. adjusted for inflation it's Gone with the Wind, which I thoroughly do not understand considering it's 4 hours long. but oh well.

it did gross a shitton though, you're not wrong about that. however The Lion King is sooooo much better.

I meant highest-grossing animated movie; I forgot to edit that.

The Lion King also got flak when it first came out, but now it's being cherished by those same people, so the same will happen with Frozen. If you've watched the Nostalgia Critic's editorial video on this, you should feel glad that a good movie is getting hype rather than a bad one.

I really liked the Lion King. It's one of my favourite movies, and I think that's because of the high volume of emotion it put into me as a viewer. I felt very connected with the movie the whole time.

@MorallyIncorrect and the Meaning of Life: Don't overthink things. Have a litte fun before you die. :P
