You have to be friendly to them first, as well as becoming friends.
 
*sigh* I understand the status of being forever alone. To make it worse all my closest friends all have great and loving relationships and I end up 3rd wheel. I keep asking why I can't have a good and real relationship, and to be loved and love someone. It's really heartbreaking to me, and I always feels ugly and horrible about myself. I tried so much but no one will ever be interested in someone like me....
 
This conversation has reminded me of just how awesome being aromantic is. c:

You can't force anyone, no. That's not what I was getting at.

To be real, attitude goes a long way from what I've experienced. I had to turn a few down after they came to me, so maaaybe I'm not the most forever alone guy.

Once I trim my core up to where I can sit without causing any overhang I'll be golden. "Do I have to wear a shirt?" I already have the confidence to where a halfway-decent half-naked body will work.

I need to do my roots, too. I actually have the kit right here. It's not very paint-like anymore.
