    Feel free to send me hate mail about how dumb I am if this is a terrible idea.

    I don't really have much to say. I think it'd be neat if we could get a bunch of the supporters together and make a music video of some song where we each sing or read or whatever you feel like a line or a few words and then mash it all together into a video of all of us.

    We could have any number of people do this, but it'd be nice to have at the very least 8 people. So if you're interested just go ahead and make a post and you can add in a suggestion for what song we should do if you want.
     
    I'd definitely be apt to do some bass vocals if need be, as I've been practicing against Layne Staley in my free time, and the only reason I haven't published recordings is I'm no good of a lyricist for my own and there is no instrumental anything AiC say for Rooster and maybe Man In The Box. I like singing Am I Inside, Rotten Apple, Down In A Hole, and I Stay Away because of how challenging and fun they are. :<
     
    I would love to join in but... I can't sing... I think that this is an awesome initiative, but you probably can't use a bad singer like me for anything...:(

    If you play an instrument (and can record it) or are a decent DJ, you could help with making music. ;)

    I don't play an instrument nor do DJ'ing... :3c I imagine I could stuff some clips together in Audacity, but there are probably a ton of people in here who would be better able to do DJ'ing than me.

    Though at least I can sing better than some of the people in the /a/ video if I practice :3

    I was just figuring to do one song but since there's a bunch of people who can play instruments maybe we could make a PC band and have a youtube channel and everything.

    I play the tuba and like a lot of other instruments.

    Used to play piano and I can read notes and play a couple instruments
    i can rap/sing badly
     
    What if we did the voice bit, as well as actual video bit, showing users playing the instruments, and maybe members holding up cards with sayings, maybe their username and how much they've donated or something. (And for sure one mentioning how we're working on a better slogan...)

    Supporter video collab, anyone?

    Also, song should totally be the original Kanto theme... old school, or maybe a mesh of all the songs, or something.
     
    I'm assuming this is something we will have to record videos/music for individually and someone will edit it all together since meeting up would be difficult. It doesn't sound like a bad idea, just don't know if there's anything I can contribute too since I'm awful at singing, editing and can't play any instruments. Though I hope anyone who does help with the video has fun doing so and I can't wait to see the finished product!
     
    So we have 9 people if I counted correctly, if we can get one more person to hop into this that'd be great but we can do it just fine with 9. I have movie maker and several other programs for video editing on the computer I have right now so as soon as we decide on a song to do (which needs to be suggested by all of you, I'm down to sing anything) then we can all get to recording and then you can just send me your videos and I'll patch them all together and I'll make it pretty. Also don't worry if you can't sing that well because I can't either. It's just fun.
     
    I suppose to make it easier we should start off just trying to figure out a genre since there's a crap ton of just random good songs.

    You want my voice in this, trust me. Listen to this song, and take note of the part where he says "Why you act crazy, not an act maybe, so~ close a lady, shifty eyes shady". If I position my body right I can sing that pretty well. ;D

    I'd definitely do well as a bass vocal. :)
