My name is Raphael, and I'm a 22-year-old male who lives in Southern parts of California (being this close to Mexico). I live with my family and three pets (two tortoises and a dog). I am currently single and constantly looking for someone I could one day be together with. I also have a disability, which is Autism Spectrum. I don't talk as much as I use to, because I don't want to catch a sore throat again. And I avoid eye contact in fear of looking at others inappropriately. I am currently a student at the San Diego State University Imperial Valley Campus as an undergraduate, and already I'm starting to miss my community college. I'm majoring in mathematics to become a math teacher, meaning I have no job, but Euclidean and non-Euclidean Geometry has already been giving me so much trouble at my first year of my new university. My interests involve playing video games (mostly Nintendo), watching movies that catch my interests, surfing the web to increase my knowledge (and for my me time), collecting figures and plushies of my favorite franchises, and going to zoos, aquariums, and theme parks. While I try to win arguments in order to gain respect from others, which I fail at all the time, I avoid debates on touchy subjects such as politics and religion, so I wouldn't look like a fool with little to no knowledge of those subjects nor lose any chances of gaining friends.


Feel free to ask me questions regarding other parts of my life that I may have missed when writing my bio.

How many figures/plushies would you say you have? I'm imagining a room that's pretty crowded with them but it might not be the correct image, aha.

I plan to continue living in southern California in a long term, because I'm so use to living in my hometown, that I refuse to move out anywhere else.

How many figures/plushies would you say you have? I'm imagining a room that's pretty crowded with them but it might not be the correct image, aha.

I have two shelves and two tabletops to hold onto my figures, while my plushies are on my bed. However, both of their spaces are very limited, so I can't keep collecting them forever. I own 58 figures and 17 plushies, so you can see why.

Much like you, my disability is only at a mild scale, and it also depends on my mood. In addition, I have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), in which I do certain things out of repetition (one of them being constantly pacing). My hometown has a rehab department for people w/ disabilities, which I'm a part of, to help with their future careers.

Here are my following weaknesses:


- My arms accidentally touching someone who may feel uncomfortable when surrounded by crowds, so I wrap my arms together to keep them from swaying.
- Women wearing midriffs and/or sandals because of my fetish.
- Low grades from exams, causing me to panic about flunking a class.
- Any of my classmates whose assignments and/or presentations are better organized than mine's, making me worry that my professor has higher expectations.
- My own intrusive thoughts, where I do nasty things that I would never do like swearing, punching, or interrupting, or fear that something will go wrong unexpectedly, and it triggers mostly in theme parks when I encounter people in mascot costumes and going to live shows.

Why is it that you miss IVC? What are the things that you miss about?

The classes were a lot easier to get through with the help of tutors, unlike SDSU, where the number of tutors are limited. Combined with the fact that all the classes I'm taking start at late afternoon/evening, I don't have much time to do anything I like to do (I'm too use to class times in the mornings). One thing I miss about IVC is the math lab, where I go there to do all of my math assignments and have some math tutors to help me whenever I'm stuck at a problem. Another thing I miss is the media center, where it's full of students who brought their 3DSs, so I could streetpass for my Mii Plaza. The Calexico campus has no media center, so I can't bring my 3DS to streetpass, and I'll never be able to complete Puzzle Swap and Warrior's Way.

Ya know, I don't think that I've ever heard of anyone having tortoises for pets. Turtles, yeah, but not tortoises. How are they as pets?

They're perfectly fine. Our backyard provides enough requirements for them to live healthy. We feed them lettuce whenever they're out in the open, and during the winter, one goes into a burrow it dug, and the other goes into a dog/cat house next to our shed.

Also, what's your favorite video game series?

Not counting Smash Bros., since it's a collaboration of pre-existing video game series, my favorite series has to be Super Mario, because it was the first game series I've played.

My favorite thing would have to be the Mega Evolution Specials, if that counts. I like how it'll connect to the mainstream anime, and there's a possibly that Alan will be the one to prevent Ash from winning the Kalos league. Can't wait to see Lysandre.


My favorite character from the new cast would be Bonnie. Unlike Serena, she's far more important to the main plot, and unlike Max, she's really entertaining as the youngest member of the group.

Other than keeping her long hair, I really can't think of anything unique that could replace that one scene. So right after Serena was hugging her Pokémon, it would cut right away to the Poke Center.

Yep, I was able to get access to Member Encyclopedia without gaining the Supporter status by reaching 3,000 posts.

What do you think was the worst butchering the English dub did to the Pokemon anime?

The crying scene from the Dedenne and Pichu episode. The Japanese version felt less fake and more emotional compared to the dub.

If you could have changed which Pokemon Ash or another main character obtained through the series, what Pokemon would you have wanted them to get?

This is a tough decision, but I would have him to get a Skrelp, depending if rumors of Goodra leaving do come true. He needs that Dragon/Fairy coverage.
