I sometimes did these battle facilities, and boy I suck badly at them because the opponents always find a way to get sneaky or counter me. It's all because I'm not good at competitive battling, but I still do the Battle Maison in the 6th Gen to save up BP for items, or in OR/AS the Move Tutors.

5th Gen's Battle Subway was extremely difficult to me to be honest, and same with the Pt/HG/SS Battle Frontier. Never bothered with Emerald's one sadly, because my brother was hogging the game and wouldn't let me play it.

Yeah, RS' was still the worst because you had to go in at either Level 50 or 100, if they were even one level above 50 you couldn't use them in that. I only ever got one Gold symbol in Emerald's and that was the Pyramid's, the others I wasn't able to master quite as effectively.

I remember when Crystal's Battle Tower had REALLY weird stuff...

Honestly for emerald, i just spent days playing battle factory. The act of picking pokemon was just so much fun to me.

One thing I remember about the Factory is that you would have better shots at getting good Pokémon if you constantly swapped, which would be difficult to keep up with if you had good stuff while your opponents didn't have much to offer.

As I think I mentioned, the Pyramid is where I recall spending the most time.

Getting the Pokedex filled really is a pain to achieve and I think as soon as I get every mon on ORAS that might be my last time ever, I'll go for it. Fortunately I already got all gen 1,3 and 6 Pokemon and I've almost finished getting all from gen 2 as well. Over 700 of them and not having Pokebank is really annoying {XD}

So anyway, what are you guys doing at the moment? Any major projects?

Well I still haven't gotten to completing the Pokédex in Omega Ruby, and don't think I will for a while. Having to train so many Pokémon is a drag. I might still have some from Bank but hey.

In the meantime, i'm playing Platinum for something quite major i've been planning.

I'm actually on a break from Pokémon right now in order to work on some other games that I have backlogged. I almost picked up a copy of Y so that I could play through Kalos again without deleting my Pokédex completion and also get Greninja, but I passed on it.

I, too was taking a break for a couple of weeks until I decited to finish up the Pokedex. If I wanted it to be the fastest way possible, I could've just caught the four Pokemon I was missing in X, but nah.

Just spend the last hour SR'ing Entei and Raikou and after getting that done, I finally finished getting the Dex complete; and I'll definitely never do it again. But it is cool that I finally got the Shiny Charm, at least once in a playthrough. I'm not going to use it, though, because now I'll definitely take a break from the games, except for White where I still need to finish my current playthrough.

I'm going to relaunch my campaign to get one of every Pokemon on a sixth generation title again...possibly on Y this time, since I've got that ready to go with an event Diancie sitting on it. I really don't feel like doing the Delta Episode in Alpha Sapphire yet either.

I really feel like replaying everything right now though, so I'm caught in the thrall of indecision as to what I should play first. I might just go through all the DS titles - conveniently skipping Black, because I detest it, but playing Black 2 as soon as I get my Deoxys off it - and then mass transfer everything to Y...after I've cloned it all or something. I don't usually approve of such methods, but I approve of losing everything due to data corruption even less.

I'm really not bothering with filling up my dex in Platinum right now, I'm actually really focused on getting my team exactly how I want it. I've spent a great deal of time collecting shards, heart scales and TMs to get the exact moves I want.

I was working on it in X but I'm taking a bit of a break. Kind of wanting to jump back in again though, so who knows.

I always attempt to complete the Pokedex, I even tried to capture all the Pokemon available in each area in Alpha Sapphire. After a certain amount of time it just becomes a difficult task, I'm actually surprised that so many people have completed their Pokedex already.

I remember completing the Pokédex in Platinum back in 2012, not too long before B2W2 released. Then in the spring of the following year, with White 2, I jumped into action to get my focus on the Pokédex completion. And I did in May 2013, given how much I was enjoying the game I was really motivated to complete the Pokédex with it. And I remember how surprised I was to see the Pokémon Center nurse notice my Gold trainer card, that much is certain.

I think, the last (and probably only) time I completed my Pokedex before ORAS, was back in 2001 or 2002 when I got every Pokemon except Celebi in my Gold Version. That moment when I realized that there was actually a 251st Pokemon; I was really sad, because it was an event only Pokemon and the event was already over...but at least I got Mew thanks to the Mew glitch. {XD}

That is indeed true, the PSS made getting to associate with others a lot more interesting than in previous generations. And although Wonder Trade is still something i'm not totally comfortable with, i'll have to get used to it in due time.

Ugh, I know what that's like with Wonder Trade. Thankfully the Wonderlocke i'm doing has actually been relatively nice to me.

And the only time i've ever played on emulators were a couple challenges in 2013, around when I first joined the forum. That and way back in 2009 when I was zipping through them for certain challenges then, too.

I only really enjoy playing the older games on emulators, as for the GBA & DS games I'd much rather prefer to play on any handheld.

I'm basically at a point where what I receive on WT isn't really important to me, unless I get a HA Tyrunt, or something similar. I'm mostly doing it for more Pokemiles which I can spend for Rare Candies.

As for emulation...well I like playing with a randomizer and doing that on a cartridge is rather difficult.
