Featured: Pokémon Choice Quest - Chapter 61. A shocking sensation

Welcome to another episode of "Lycan can't let go Choice Quest". Sorry for the hiatus, I had stuff to do in real life. Let's start immediately with the introduction of a new Pokémon, shall we? It's not even pink or purple this time (maybe I'm doing something wrong).

What do you do?
1. Free lunch! 1 vote
2. Sneak away while it's still distracted. 5 votes
3. Look for your other Pokémon and go for a real fight. 1 votes
4. Hug Seismitoad. You'll certainly become best friends. 2 votes

44. Imposter dragon

Location: Gonji Lakes

You sneak back and walk around the toad Pokémon with a radius much bigger than necessary and follow the water's edge to the place you threw a Pokéball to. When you meet up with Jingles and Wynia, you notice the dragon Pokémon's big smile on the face while she hands you the Pokéball. It's not empty! Although you missed the Goomy you aimed for, your luck has surely given you a more special one, maybe even a shiny dragon. Praise Arceus!

You open up the Pokéball and release the Pokémon inside, and a small Pokémon emerged. The blue creature stood on the back four of his six legs to give you and Scrambles a closer inspection from under the lily pad on its head. If you were able to understand Scrambles's language, you'd probably be laughing along them, because his joke, that's what you think it is, looks pretty funny to the newbie on your team.

With a new member you can completely restyle your team set-up, what do you do?
1. Let Scrambles ride on Lotad and go explore the lakes.
2. Make Wynia and Jingles carry Scrambles and Lotad to watch over from the skies.
3. Train your Pokémon by making them battle each other.
4. Retreat all Pokémon to their Pokéballs and walk by yourself.
The next chapter can be expected in... Yeah, I don't know. Sometime.

Im going with 1 cause im feeling a bit adventurous :P

3. Train your Pokémon by making them battle each other.

You gotta be ready! *o*

I think training would be the best option for now! Our current team might seem like a laughing stock to the bad guys. :p

my thought process a moment ago.

"Blue creature? Woah Lycan seems like Im staying here cos we got ourselves a Dratini or something else nice! :D"

"6 legs? Giratina's not blue... >_>"

"lily pad...
>_>
<_<
>_>
>~> LYCAN!"

Lotad is cool but do you really need

alongside other pretty silly looking Pokemon?

sighs in disappointment xD

Give that Lotad an Everstone so it stays cute forever and lets move on forward! :D
4. Because we won't find Venipede, Dratini nor Arcanine by moving at the speed of a low level Lotad.

At least it's not pink or purple, so on that matter you could say there's some progress. Maybe you'll even see a glimpse of Giratina around chapter 1274.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, but please suggest nicknames for your new team member! Lotad is male in case you want to know.

I'm trying to think of a name that involves uncontrollable dancing. This will take me a while, haha.

I suggest we call him Sven just for that extra salt from Guardian over there. X3

(seriously though don't do that)

Well you cant name him dedenne since thatd just be confusing xD

Woah Woah Woah, next thing Im gonna see is a horde of shiny Dragonairs names Sven and I'll have to hack the entire forum and delete this entire place from existence! :/

Lets just wait for anything from my signature appearing before suggesting Sven huehuehue

Also why not Laguna the Lotad? I mean... The name is water-based and all lol

Let's play the Nickname the Pokémon above you game with Lotad! I added some other options for people who think Sven and Laguna are boring names. And of course there is more happening too, did you really think you were going to gain some free levels in safety?

45. Level up!

Location: Gonji Lakes

"Hey, don't look at me like that. This is the easiest way to get stronger. Now go attack your friends!"

Still hesitating, Wynia opened with a Supersonic attack on Scrambles, who immediately responded with the same move. Jingles laid down a layer of spikes on the swampy soil. Meanwhile, Lotad decided to take cover and submerged into the nearest lake, from where he aimed Bubbles at Wynia. The sound wave Pokémon Flew up, hoping her two attackers would hit each below, but instead Scrambles tripped over in confusion and fell on his face, evading a second Bubble from the team's newbie.

You see Jingles is about to use Sweet Kiss on Lotad, when someone tapes your mouth and pulls a jute sack over your head. A moment later you feel yourself lifted from the ground by at least two people. Your Pokémon were very busy with battling, would they even have noticed? How seriously did they take their training?

In a situation like this, your Pokémon would probably...
A.
...not notice anything happened.
B. ...run away for their lives to safety.
C. ...look for help and save you with an enormous army.
D. ...blow up the kidnappers with Hyper Beam.
E. ...celebrate their liberty from their trainer.

Also, you can give Lotad a nickname! Pick one:
A. Sven
B. Laguna
C. Puddles
D. Ferry
E. Derpy
F. Terrence
The next chapter can be expected next Monday.
