49. *Badass music starts playing*

Location: In the air

"You're saying you had this cannon the whole time and didn't say anything about it?" Jingles was astounded, but quickly turned it into a smile and added: "Sorry, I didn't mean to shout at you, you're really sweet actually."

"You were so busy with your catapult design, I didn't want to ruin it. You didn't even ask about it." Zell explained. "But... are you really going to do this?"

"Yes, we have to. Coming along?"

"Okay sure. ...wait, no! That's dangerous! I'll await your return, darling. Do come back alive!"

...and so it happened that not much later a cannon was aimed at a familiar building nearby, ready to shoot a small party of Pokémon. The helicopter in which their trainer was taken away was standing there in the open on the roof, those guys have guts. One small detail had been overlooked by the four Pokémon though. How are they going to land safely? If only they had a fishing rod...

Tell me, how?
A. Pray.
B. Magic?
C. Pretend to be Transformer robots.
D. They did bring parachutes, right? Right?
E. They aren't.
The next chapter can be expected... sometime. Let's keep it at that.

...Well, they do have special attacks, right? Because if so, those pretty much qualify as magic. In the anime, Ash can literally find a use for the most random moves in dire times, so... oh, look. Aurora Beam or Psybeam could do the trick. ;D
 
First off, that truly was some epic music, so thank you for that

Secondly, I'm going with E mainly because it just seems fitting for the story that they would start out as badasses and then just klutz it all up XD

Oh my, are we on Chapter 50 already? I'm truly surprised by that achievement, I never expected myself to be able to keep up this long. Hooray for Choice Quest! (My apologies for this chapter's title.)

50. OMG THERE ARE SO MANY CHAPTERS

Location: Team Zeta Headquarters (above it, that is)

Puddles had his eyes closed. This can't be the end. How did I get myself dragged into this? If only I was at home in my cozy swamp, Pokémon there wouldn't be so stupid as these strange tourists. They want to save a human. A human! Only that thought... Ugh... how long do I still have to be tortured like this, come on with that ground already.

Then he realized he was no longer falling, as if his ability turned into Levitate. He looked to the ground below, which laughed at him. "Someday I'll ambush you and you'll fall to death." a voice said in his head. What kind of sorcery is this?!

When he looked to the right he saw Scrambles busily negotiating with a pair of Kadabra on the ground, whose psychic powers were obviously the cause of them still being airborne. Meanwhile, Wynia and Jingles seemed just as confused as he was.

What now?
A: Friendly ask them to put your party down.
B: Tell the female Kadabra her mustache is ugly.
C: Try to attack with Sleep Powder.
D: Ask them to join you.
E: Try: "Hey look, what that behind your back?"
The next chapter can be expected... sometime. My research has showed me that promising a certain update time increases the odds of not getting to it.
