6th Gen Pokémon Direct - 04/09/2013!

According to Serebii, the annual cost for subscription to pokemon bank is ¥500.

For Australians, that equates to a bit over $5.
 
About the Kanto Mega Starters...

I'm not sure if their type were displayed as well, but don't you think MegaCharizard and MegaBlastoise would benefit from it? Like the former being given a Fire/Dragon typing (FINALLY) and the latter Water/Steel? If Charizard still is Fire/Flying...I'm feeling Stealth Rock makes a return as its arch-nemesis.

The official site updated after the announcement, it's still Fire/Flying...sadly.

And Blastoise is pure water...sadly too.
 
Waahahaha. MegaCharizard looks awesome, but the other two... Derp. They should have given them scarves or hair à la MegaAmpharos or MegaLucario instead.
 
I think the bank would be through our PGL accounts so I doubt they'd delete them. The saves will be available to us through our already made accounts so they wouldn't need to delete them. Just do like with the sleeping Pokemon and if you don't meet the requirements to transfer/withdraw then you just can't.


Also saw something about not needing to pay for Poke-Transfer, its part of the Pokemon Bank so yes you are paying for that too. If you can't access the bank you cannot transfer. Just putting it out there for those that question it.

I wonder if we'll have to pay for downloading the Poke-Transfer app on the 3DS...hopefully that much will be free so we'll only have to pay the annual fee.

According to other sites, the Pokémon Transfer app is a separate app and will be free for those who wish to use it, and even if it was not, you (or we) could always use the trial period of Pokémon Bank to get things done quickly.
 
Charizard really looks like a dragon now, should have gained the type.

I'll see how the trial goes when making my decision whether to pay for it after the trial period ends. I do love the idea of tons of space though, maybe now I can chain breed and not worry about space like I did back in Emerald.

i mean, by buying the us, uk exclusive you also get the game, right?

" Exclusive "means that it's limited time offer, or one of kind, so not it's not the same a "bundle". In they have the games but I have yet to confirm the same deal for the Us and Europe.

No, on September 27th the Red and Blue 3DS XL will be released and available for purchase.

From what we were told it doesn't look like you'll be getting the game with the 3DS in the US or UK, which is why I wouldn't call this a bundle. Only in Japan do they seem to have this bundle deal available.
 
I really really hope that there a some more solid poison types in gen 6. i would actually be interested in having to pick between a poison, ice and flying starter. just for a change :)

super psyched for this gen. it looks great i hope it can live up to its expectations!

A new Pokémon was spotted during the trailer, it appears to be a Llama Pokemon but there are no further details just yet.
