Day 16: Which game found the best use for the bottom screen?
If I remember Gen4 have those poketech apps that utilizing very much some function, the DexNav is also added to this mentoning.

Day 17: Would you like to see Gyms/HMs/biking return in the future, or are you hoping for more breaks from the traditional Pokémon formula?

NO HMs, just hoping use ride pokemon for such things

HGSS became UI of menu is good and simple, also multiple options!

Yeeees, I would love to see them back in future Pokémon games...

All of the above, yes. I was really surprised to discover that there was no bike shop in Alola, and would love to see it return in the Ultra versions. As for HM's, I'd prefer a middle ground between what we had before and what we had now, ie. requiring them for side quests but not the main story.

Gyms, yes, but in a different way from how we know it.
HMs, no. Good riddance.
Bikes, I don't know. Frankly I did nit miss it that much in SM and rarely used one in X&Y. Not that I really mis it a lot either.

I'm definitely fine with Gyms and the bicycle, but please keep the HMs far away from me.
 
Day 16: Which game found the best use for the bottom screen? - I actually loved the Poketch in DPP but HGSS, XY and ORAS all had really good uses for the bottom screen too, so it would have to be between one of them three - I can't decide :/

Gyms? Yes. Trials were fun, but I can't deny how much I love the format of Gyms and to me it kinda feels like something is really missing when they aren't present in a game. HMS and the Bicycle on the other hand, I'm indifferent. I'll take them or leave them.

I want gyms back if they return to giving the leaders some personality. Bikes I like, but I kinda preferred skates to be honest. And HMs can remain as far away as possible.

I would like to see Gyms and biking return, but not HMs (That's been a flawed system for years.)

Gotta be honest, even though there has been some useful stuff on the bottom screen since it's introduction, I largely ignore it where possible, which is why I loved that HG/SS just made it the menu. The AreaNav in ORAS was pretty handy though, and probably the most I made use out of the bottom screen in recent games.

After the introduction of Ride Pokemon, I really don't see a need for us to go back to HMs. I'm interested to see if they retcon them in future remakes, or if we'll be saddle with them again (or maybe they'll find some other workaround for them). I definitely would like to see Gyms back again at some point, and I'd be okay if they brought the bike/rollerskates back, but I could always live without them.

I'd say Cynthia from DPP. The beat and rhythm fits so well with the tough battle she provides.

Pretty much a close tie between N and Ghetsis. I loved how the mood of the music went very dark with each subsequent battle with N. Ghetsis on the other hand has that "DENNIS" chord that always gives me chills to this day.
